2006 - Reddish hue with thin off-white head. Rich malty nose. Wow, this is a nice beer. Very smooth, rich toasty malt, full palate. Toffee and prune notes with a spicy hop bite to balance. Very tasty.

On tap at Mad Mex. Dark Mahogony, with nice tan head, aromas of dried fruit and honey, a bit sweet, carbonation and alcohol present but balanced, nice beer.

Mahogany pour with a big off white head that laces nicely, but doesn’t last very long. Smell is of dark fruits, candied sugar, and perhaps some caramel. Tastes of definite caramel malts, which mask the alcohol really well. A hint of the typical Belgian tastes come through. Medium bodied and a bit dry throughout. A bit of carbonation, but not too much. Really drinkable. Pretty refreshing overall.

Amber with off white head - aroma is malty with some fruity hints in the background - Taste is of malts and some hop bitterness and some alcohol that lingers into the finish - nnice and easy drinking
