3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 yemenmocha (657) - Glendale, Arizona, USA - JAN 13, 2010
Dark brown with touch of amber at the edges of the class. A little hazy.
Nose resembles tea, herbs, and mild spices.
On the palate the maltiness is notable, as is the thyme and an overall sweetness with some citrus. Again, a tea flavor is present, maybe an herbal tea.
Finishe leaves a taste like a dry wood stick in your mouth, but not in a bad way necessarily.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 VTHopHead (1340) - Barre, Vermont, USA - DEC 26, 2009
Bottle/750 - Poured a very dark amber in color with a small tan head. Quite a bit of "stuff" floating in the beer. No lacing from the head. Aroma is spicy with plenty of fruity esters and little evidence of the hops. Flavor is flavor is *very* fruity with a heavy amount of "berriness", almost to the point that you would suspect them adding a bit of cherry juice. Hops add some bitterness to balance. I liked this one...
