3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The overall score is a bit higher than the seperate factors because the slightly above avg elements blend very well into a smokey sweet. Basically, if you think Christmas beers aren’t bad, but the elements never excited you, go for this one.
I’m subjective because I’m usually not that strong on Christmas beers, but this one ranks among the best.
It’s a little heavy on the sweet as with any Christmasbeer, but also heavy on some spices and alcohol mixed through which actually makes the blend better.
Heavy isn’t a bad thing here, since everything is ’heavy’ and nothing oversteps, and Christmas beers usually fade into sweetish iron or clove that never lasts way too often. So this one has some balls, kinda fire’ish and spicier alcohol.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured at tasting a brown with small white head and little CO2. I thought this being a strong it would be a harder aroma and taste but it was lighter. Thick bodied with a dark fruit aroma and taste. Yeast in the finish with a cherry note.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle - Brown pour with a foamy tan head. Nose is doughy yeast, whtie grape, bread dough, and dark fruit. Sweet and sugary, but not cloying. Taste is really fruity yeast, raisin, doughy bread, and overripe grape. Boozy and warm on the finish. Medium-bodied and soft--really smooth.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pour is dark and almost ruby port-like. Aroma is there but could be more present. Taste is where it really shines with figs, a faint herbal flavor and a tingly grapes. The finish is super long with lingering dark fruits holding on. Big fan.
