The overall score is a bit higher than the seperate factors because the slightly above avg elements blend very well into a smokey sweet. Basically, if you think Christmas beers aren’t bad, but the elements never excited you, go for this one. I’m subjective because I’m usually not that strong on Christmas beers, but this one ranks among the best. It’s a little heavy on the sweet as with any Christmasbeer, but also heavy on some spices and alcohol mixed through which actually makes the blend better. Heavy isn’t a bad thing here, since everything is ’heavy’ and nothing oversteps, and Christmas beers usually fade into sweetish iron or clove that never lasts way too often. So this one has some balls, kinda fire’ish and spicier alcohol.

Poured at tasting a brown with small white head and little CO2. I thought this being a strong it would be a harder aroma and taste but it was lighter. Thick bodied with a dark fruit aroma and taste. Yeast in the finish with a cherry note.
