75 cl, bottled. Pours clear red with a white head. Aroma: Hops, malt. Taste: slight bitterness, noticeable sweet. Caramel, hops. Matured fruits. Brings to mind the end of summer. Palate: Near full body, fair carbonation. Nice and heady.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2011 Pours a dark brown with ruby hues. Aromas of dark toffees and baking spices. Flavor is dominated by darker malts, not as spicy as I would have guessed. Good herbal and spice flavors. Tastes like an imperial brown ale with some nice belgian notes. Solid christmas beer.

Aroma has sour cream, belgian yeast and some spices. Flavour has toffee, belgian yeast, spices and hints of alcohol. Can’t really tell if the alco is warming or disturbing, but at least it doesn’t bother me much. The Achouffe house flavour typical to Chouffes is also present. Spicy finish and aftertaste. Good, but somehow I was expecting more. Anyway, the moderate amount of spices do feel nice after all those spice bomb beers from Alko…

Bottle 750ml. Pours dark amber with a rich amber head. Aroma grass, vegetables, earthy. Taste slightly sweet belgian hops. Medium carbonation. Not Bad.

750 ml bottle. Dark reddish brown colour, thick light beige head. Sweetish aroma of caramel malt, dried fruits and spices. The flavour is fruity, caramel-malty, with a warm, pleasantly spicy finish. Medium to full-bodied, foamy carbonation. Delicious.

Pours dark in color with giant tan head like 4 to 5 inches of head that sticks to the glass.Aromas of malts,sugar,caramel and yeast. A little sweeter then I like but very good never the less.Flavor is rich and malty could have as a dessert.
