UPDATED: DEC 29, 2011 2004 bottle via Kevin. Pours to a beige bubbly creamy head atop a deep woody brown. Nice lacing. The aroma is mildly malty and figgy with a Belgian yeastiness and is woody-ish. Definite Curaҫao apparent in the aroma as well. Spicy with Curaҫao. Light Belgian yeastiness. Creamy and medium-full bodied. No discernable alcohol except a light warming of the gullet. 8, 4, 7, 4, 16 = 3.9; Tap 2011. Pours to a murky brown body with a white head and awesome lacing. Aroma is dry chocolate and toasted malt. Flavor is kind of like a scotch ale with light spices and apple. Sweet and metallic. The beer was very metallic up front but mellowed as I let it sit. Lingering on the palate. Medium body. 6, 4, 7, 3, 12 = 3.2

Fles33cl. Kleur amber/bruin met creme schuimkraag. Die vrijwel meteen dood valt. Geur kruidig en rood fruit Smaak zoet en fruitig, maar vooral kruidig en geroosterde mout. Stevig en warm.

(Bottle). Beautiful aroma of yeast, light malt, caramel, cola and mellow spices. Unfiltered dark brown complexion with lingering tan head. Complex flavors include cola, caramel, Belgian malt and subtle hop balance. Excellent. Well crafted. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33 cl bottle purchased from Lifesource Natural Grocers in Salem OR $3.99 { limited edition , thyme and curacao peel} Pours a cloudy dark amber colour with a large, thick and rocky lighter tan head. Slightly spicy malty aromas..spices are peppery and deep burned orange peel..nice / Smooth taste..malty, dark fruits and smooth "tablet" ( Scottish sweet similar to dulce de leche)...no sign of the 10% alc Brilliant smooth creamy mouth feel..touch of herb maybe the thyme in the after taste. Super tasty winter sipper

Piana drobna, do?? trwa?a, jasno be?owa, ?adnie zdobi szk?o. Aromat ?wi?teczny, zimowy czyli go?dziki, suszone lub sma?one ?liwki i mo?e odrobin? skórki pomara?czowej. Smak delikatnie alkoholowy, bardzo przyjemny, goryczka wyra?na, równie? sympatyczna. W smaku dominuj? ?liwki i przyprawy. Z czasem alkohol staje si? bardziej intensywny, nie odrzuca. Ca?o?? bardzo dobrze skomponowana, piwo rewelacyjnie "pijalne". Bardzo polecam.
