N’Ice CHOUFFE is a strong, brown beer that will warm you in the depths of winter. Spicy (thyme and curaçao) and tinged with hops, this is a very balanced beer. N’Ice CHOUFFE is an unfiltered beer which is refermented in the bottle and in barrels.
Available from mid-October until mid-February.

Limited Edition 2008 - From the big bottle, this brew poured murky amber color with plenty of n’ice beige foam, lasting for days. The aroma is boozy and fruity, with apricots and definite herbaceous and bready notes. The flavor is intense and complex. It’s got all the sweet Belgian yeastiness you could want, with a bit of toffee as it warms and some sweet/sour fruit peeking through, maybe like a dark grape(?) I would say it’s got a medium finish with nice caramel and malt prevailing there. Has a very soft mouthfeel with well moderated carbonation. This is everything a Belgian should be! N’Ice work! (couldn’t help myself)

2008 Bottle. Aroma of fruits and alcohol. Hazy amber body with thin head, lacing body. Flavor is filled with fruit and citrus with a hint of hops and malts... slightly tart with a dry finish... a nice warming power and very enjoyable

Bottle 0,75. Coz za swietne piwo. Wyglad przepiekny, wielka i bardzo, bardzo trwala piana. Kolor czerwono bursztynowy. Swietny swiateczny aromat. A wiec mamy tu gozdziki, curacao, skorke pomaranczy, laske wanilli i przyprawy inne, trudne do zidentyfikowania. Smak tresciwy, sosnowy, runo lesne, powidla ciasteczka korzenne. Alkohol ukryty doskonale, super piwo na zimowe wieczory. Doskonale rozgrzewa. Jest metnawe ale delikatnie. Swietna etykieta idealnie pasujaca do pory serwowania tego piwa.

Dark red with a beige head. Sweet and fruity aroma. Body is full, texture oily and medium carbonation. Balanced taste of candid fruits, raisins and dryed plums, herbs and chocolate. Semi-sweet finish. Excelent beer.

Damn, those Belgians know how to do holiday ales. While I’m creeped out by the elves d’Achouffe likes to put on everything (I can’t help it, okay?) N’Ice Chouffe is pretty much irresistible. Pour is dark brown with tight light tan bubbles. Malty, fruity, and herbaceous aroma. Flavors of banana, plum, bread, spices, citrus, and toffee. Body is smooth but there’s still lively carbonation. My plan is to age this for 6 months and see if I like it as well at that point in time as I do now. Now if they’d just lose those weird-ass elves...

An interesting aroma of fruit and caramel. Hints of spice. Pours a brown haze with a slight reddish tint. The beer is lively. Very good taste, complex but well balanced. A creamy bitter beer with hints of fruit and caramel. Everything just works well together with this beer.

Amber donker bier. Heerlijk met een flink zoete karamel nasmaak. Heerlijk vol met een mooie nasmaak.
