Pours an orange-hued murky brown with a rocky head that fades to a thin cap, leaving minimal lacing. The aroma is fruity and herbal, with some notes of oxidation and wild-smelling yeast. Candy sugar us also present in the aroma. The flavour displays a perfect balance of hops and candy malts in an easily quaffable strong ale. The flavours present include mint, orange peel, peppery spice, grahm cracker, and berry, with a dry, clean, perfectly bitter hop finish. Nice soft, yet tingly carbonation and velvety mouthfeel.

I like how this looks it has a dark yet somewhat clear nut brown, and light orange color with a thick tan and light brown head. It also leaves some streaks and small head spots on the sides of the glass. the aroma is very earthy and full of some light fruits and traces of hops. as it warms up and i take a sip there is a initial creamy texture with some light fruits to accent it. The more i sip on it the fruits fade out and it gets a bit earthy but that creamyness never goes away which is really nice.

Draft at Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a hazy reddish amber color with a medium frothy offwhite head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of spicy notes, yeast, banana, and berries. The taste is toffee, earthy notes, citrus, toastiness and a spicy finish. Medium-full bodied. Nice beer.

(bottle, thanks AndyMagnum) Pours a dark brown with an off-white head. Nice aroma of malt (caramel) spice, banana and raisin. Very malty sweet taste initially which rounds out to a nice spicy finish with some yeast to round it out with a slight alcohol kick. This is a quality beer.

Frothy head with the consistency of whipped egg whites and perfect brown-red hue. The flavor has strong notes of spice (cinnamon, cumin, ginger, and clove) with a floral presence not unlike rose. The finish is simple and does not linger particularly long on the palate. Pair with a hearty, buttery washed rind cheese like Pere Joseph or possibly French munster.

750ml bottle from Khans, Indianapolis. Pours beautifully, with a long lasting head. Aroma of fruit and berries. Flavour is fruit and sweet, almost like drinking a berry pie. Finish is alcoholic warmth and sugar. Very good.
