75cl bottle from Alko. Poured dark copper with a white head, lasts quite long. Lovely fruity, spicy aroma, caramel and orange. Flavor is caramel, caramel, spices and orange. Some alcohol in finish, warming, very smooth. Great brew, highly recommended.

Pours dark brown with ruby tones with big tanned head leaving very nice lacing. Aroma is malty and sweet, spicy, caramel, chocolate and dark fruits. Nice crispy fruity mouthfeel. Flavor follows the aroma with notes of alcohol and bitter orange. Palate is nice crispy and malty. Finishes hoppy and bitter orange.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2011 Pours a dark brown with ruby hues. Aromas of dark toffees and baking spices. Flavor is dominated by darker malts, not as spicy as I would have guessed. Good herbal and spice flavors. Tastes like an imperial brown ale with some nice belgian notes. Solid christmas beer.

On tap at downtown Houston Saucer. Dark, hazy brown with a moderate beige head. Aroma of dark fruit, caramel, spice and Belgian yeast. Taste was well balanced, yeasty and fruity, with well hidden alcohol. Medium bodied with smooth carbonation. Quite good.

Tap @ Baran, Bergen. This one pours a near clear deep deep ruby-amber body with a small heavy lacing off-white head. Candy-sweet aroma, it smells almost like sweet fruity and caramelly snow! Really nice stuff. Average to soft carbonated with a mild sticky to oily mouthfeel Full-bodied with sweet flavors of both ripe strawberries, candy sugar, Belgian-yeast and a nice warming touch of alcohol in the aftertaste. Good stuff, not to Christmasy but really nice!

Mmmm, terrific seasonal that packs a punch. The yeast delivers a natural esteur and an accompanying sharp spicy taste of clover and clementine. The distinct tastes make up for the huge body of this colossus-beer. Try it!
