Pours ruby brown with a huge tan head. Nice spicy nose. Flavors are immediate and full: strong toffee, a hint of chocolate. Quite smooth & meaty. Sweet. Moderate malt-alcohol presence (rummy). This is definitely a winner, I plan to grab a few and cellar them, because I may want this year-round.

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2006 So easy to drink yet so strong. Medium body. Lovely tasty beligan ale. Sweet hoppy aroma, taste is of dark fruits, very leathery, a sticky long finish. Not complex but a very enjoyable ale. Highly recommened, two bottles and you are singing (probably very loud!). Bought at Beer Paradise/Estate Wine in Holstebro, Denmark.

Dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, heavy malty, dried fruit, yeasty and spicy. Flavor is rather sweet. Smooth and soft. 211207

Brownish red, nice tanned head. Smells of tart apples, caramel and belgian yeast esters. Medium malt body, not much sweetness. Actually i find some acids hiding in the back. Very nice. Very dry mouthfeel too. Nice bitterness of curacao oranges. Totally a very nice seasonal

Festive. Dark nutty roast with off white tan head which lasts. Spices, cinnamon, nuts, dried fruits, coffee and alcohol heat. Warms the mouth and palate. Malty long finish. Delicious. Merry Christmas! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
