Very carbonated. Smelled and tastes ultra sweet. Average Belgian Strong Ale and nothing more.

Pours a dark brown, topped with tan colored head. There is a nice sweet and fruity aroma, some spices as well and some alcohol. The taste is strong, but not unpleasantly, spices are pretty obvious. Bitterness in the end, but no real alcohol taste. Nice.

Dark brown beer with red reflexes. Caramel, toffee, chocolate, dark and dried fruits, but lot of alchool again and sugary.

Nice belgian strong ale that was expertly crafted and had a good balance of malts and alcohol to keep me warm in the winter.

Bouteille: Deep ruby-amber coloured, hazy; caramelly, fruity and mild herbal nose with a discrete toch of sweet wine underneath; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; lingering caramelly vinous finish with a bitter hoppy "tail". Not really great, but pretty good…

Bottle from Douberd and shared by MichaelAwesome - many thanks! The beer pours out in a deep dark brown colour with low head and smooth body. Aroma of dried grapes and light rum. Taste of raisins, dried cranberries, Belgian yeast, straw and mild fruits. Easy drinkable. Enjoyed it.
