RnH: Extreme Winter: Pours deep marroon leaving a thin off white head. The nose was great, especially in the snifter... loads of roasted malts, bright fruits, mild citrus and some sugars. Taste was very nice, complex. More fruits, clove and banana, deep sugars. The body was easy, very drinkable. Nice brew.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Tulip Chouffe glass. Well, it’as a good brown beer, but not a really good Christmas one.Let me explain : we got a nice aroma, taste and palate, but it dissapear so fast that it’s not even fun and good to drink it. In fact, we’re in front of a middle-class beer. Try it, but don’t spend too much on it.

Pours dark brown with red highlights, a moderate bubbly head. Nose is dark makes, a bit of dark fruits, candy sugar. Taste is a bit dark fruity/estery up front, then tons of molasses, wintertime spices. Very high carbonation. Hides the 10% well. Good warmer.

Fruity strong ale with a note of peppercorn. Fairly dry and with a touch of floral hops. A very nice Christmas beer. Went very well with pulled pork burgers.

Draught @ ’t Brugs Beerje, Brugge. Dark red with a thin head. Has some light winter fruits with smooth malts more than evident.

Marron foncée orangée. Mousse beige claire avec rétention et dépôts. Voilée Aromatique très fruitée sur fruits rouges-noirs. Egalement sucrée, sur le caramel un peu. Levures belges.

Draft. Brown pour) no head. The aroma is light with hints of caramel and holiday spice. Flavor is malt hinged some nougat, holiday candy, bread, spice, a beer of depth. Finished a bit boozy and sweet but not overpowering.
