For those who aren’t afraid of big and bold beer! Made with a blend of roasted barley, chocolate and amber malt, this Imperial Stout has many deep flavours of rich and dark fruit and is naturally carbonated to give an incredibly smooth finish.

On tap at the Ottawa Beerfest. A pitch black with a rusty tan head. A really nice aroma, soft odor of dark chocolate wrapped around coffee beans. Silky med-light body reveals lovely roasty coffee, umami, dark chocolate, great stuff.

Bottle bought at the Nickelbrook brewery in Burlington/Canada. Overall a fantastic mind blowing imperial stout that has it all! Sweet vanilla and chocolate aroma. Pitch black color, no light penetration. Beige creamy head that keeps a pretty thick layer. Taste is phenomenal! Roasted malt, espresso, sweet vanilla, bitter chocolate plus some minor dark fruits. Alcohol very very mild and warming. A mind blowing brew!

Black with a thin beige head, fading quickly. Weak aromas of chocolate liquor. Full bodied, creamy texture, average carbonation, fruity up front, almost plummy like a quad, very little roastiness on the palate, more on the chocolate, finishing on fruits and a bit of ashy roastiness. Not bad, altough would like more complexity to it.

Poured deep, dark brown with a disappearing beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, dark fruit, roast malt and coffee. Full body, flavour much as the aroma. Impressive for the ABV.

Bottle: black beer with tan head. Dark fruits, espresso, and a bold malty aroma. Rich, complex flavours of roasted malts, dates, cocoa, and yeast. Oily mouthfeel with a long sweet bitterness in the end. Excellent Imperial stout.

Black pour with small beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate and faint fruit. Taste of burnt malts, coffee, chocolate, some berry fruits and faint hops. Full bodied, nice carbonation, pretty decent beer.

Glass at Stout Irish Pub (Toronto). Pours black with medium beige head. Aroma is quasi inexistent. Taste is interesting though, with good notes of barley, figs, raisins, plum, chocolate, and coffee. Sweet but drinkable. Alcohol is well hidden. Thin for the style. Enjoyable, but far from the greatest of its style.

341mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Nose brings out dark fruits, roasted malt, and caramel malt. Flavour brings out caramel roasted malt and some dried dark fruit - great balance between the two. Carbonation is lively but nice enough, though the whole thing feels a bit dead in the mouthfeel. Solid beer, just nothing overly interesting.
