A boldly hopped, full bodied American style IPA. Brewed using primarily Nugget hops give Headstock IPA a distinct hop flavour, bitterness and aroma. It also used a blend of classic European and North American malts to enhance the body and flavour. No additives. No preservatives. Naturally caronated for a smooth, crisp finish.

16 oz. can. Really good stuff, with dank green onion and hints of pot mixing with classic citrus and evergreen. Way, way better than the Red Racer I drank the night after. This brewery is doing some good shit.

Heady nose of green hops. Nice weed flavor with notes of pine and citrus, biscuit malt, smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Hypnotizing IPA, slowly grows on you, I’m sure Jimmy would have enjoyed smoking some Nugget in the Woodstock days @o@

Tap. Surprisingly good IPA compared to every other beer that I’ve had in canada. Citrusy and piney. Creamy mouthfeel. Smoothy and balanced. Tastes like a pretty solid Seattle IPA.

Pours a unfiltered amber with an average head. Aroma is of pine, citrus, caramel, and bread. Tastes of big pine and grapefruit with toffee and caramel in the background. Has a medium body with average carbonation. Has a crisp dry finish with a strong hop kick to the tongue. A good beer with a silly looking can.

A murky light orange brew with a decent amount of white head. Smells of grapefruit and tangerine. Very citrusy. Beautiful bitterness on the palate as pink grapefruit and tangerines battle in a bitter versus sweet scenario, complimenting each other perfectly. There are some caramel malts underlying it all. A deceptively complex beer. Great to know this is regularly available at the LCBO.

Merci Louis. (1248-210914)

Pours a hazy orangey amber with a medium sized sticky white head that leaves lace all up the glass bit settles to a consistent film across the top. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruits, and a moderately sweet malt profile. Flavour is resin, citrus, grapefruit, medium-high bitterness session-able bitterness, mild malty sweetness and and medium dry finish.

Pours a cloudy orangey gold with a good finger of creamy white head. Great lacing. Nose is all hop bomb: Citrus and tropical fruit with grapefruit and pine dominating. Taste is a sweet caramel malt with lots of citrus and tropical fruit, with finish that’s less aggressively dry than you’d expect from 80 IBU. My only real complaint is that it’s a little under-carbonated for my liking, but overall this is a great APA.
