COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We admit it. We have a problem... We love our hops. We especially adore the amazing science of hops! As homage to our favourite wonders of nature, we present to you our award-winning Headstock IPA. The flowering humulus lupulus hop-cone provides us with the vital acids, essential oils and resins that permeate throughout our IPA. The result is a deliciously obscene wallop of tropical fruit, citrus and pine flavours and aromas any hop-head would gladly give a DNA sample for. We conclude that hop science is one tasty passion.

bottle @ Jungle Jims / Cincinnati OH --- Aroma of malt with orange maple and light citrus. Nearly clear medium amber color, off-white head that sinks to a thin cover, hanging strands of lace. Taste is caramel malt with solid carbonation on the swallow. From there, it hits harsh bittering, but only for a moment. Malt re-enters, and, even though the hops still dominate, there is sufficient balance to recommend this one. I could buy it again.

Smell: earthy hops, bitter grapefruit pith, lemon rind. Taste: creamy mouthfeel, low sugar, pine resin. Finish: very dry, some citrus but very bitter. smells better than it tastes (can 05/25/16, tasted 06/06/16)

Keg. Hazy amber body with a thin off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange, caramel and pine. Flavour of fresh hops, bitter orange marmalade and grapefruit. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Light fizz. A classic IPA. Very good.

On tap at the bent elbow in Kitchener. Pours golden Amber, nice off white head leaves solid lacing. Solid citrus and resin nose. Taste begins with solid bitterness, pine, citrus, citrus rinds. Medium body. Canada may know how to IPA after all.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2016 Can thanks to dabeerbuddha @ BA, many thanks man! Pours a very clear golden with a medium frothy white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of oranges and other hop oils. Really pleasing. Taste is more juicy oranges and moderately bitter. Long lasting bitter finish. Light supporting malt base. Body is medium, carbonation moderate and mouthfeel a bit juicy. A really good IPA I didn’t expect to like as much as I do!

Well balanced hoppy IPA. Citrus nose with a pine aftertaste, nice full malt and good water base. Excellent IPA.

DRaft. This is a pretty good ipa, citrus and pine notes, fairly dry, some fruitiness. Good stuff.

bottle. Golden with one finger head. Aboverage IPA. Medium body, light sweetness. Citrus hops. Crisp hops, well constructed IPA, but slightly generic.

Probably the best Canadian IPA that I have tried! Totally unfiltered which is extra points with me. Flavor leans grapefruit...and sticks in the aftertaste...and is not swamped by brute bitterness.

OK, from a bottle I wonder if this is just another ubiquitous IPA. Some sediment on the bottom of the bottle. Smells like strong IPA, what else? It looks like IPA, and hey of it looks, tastes and smells like IPA, what else could it be, a macro lager? No way, IPA is so much more macrotized than pale lager, hehehheh. Yea, another IPA trying to be an illegal imperial IPA immigrant without penetrating the border.
