A boldly hopped, full bodied American style IPA. Brewed using primarily Nugget hops give Headstock IPA a distinct hop flavour, bitterness and aroma. It also used a blend of classic European and North American malts to enhance the body and flavour. No additives. No preservatives. Naturally caronated for a smooth, crisp finish.

Cloudy light copper in color, with a medium thick head. Lots of yeast visible. Nice pine and fruit aroma. Nice bit of hops with grapefruit flavor coming through. Nice lasting bitter finish

The smell was good from the late hops however I believe it’s overpriced for what it is. The can is embarassing to have at your table, look like fruitopia. Malt balance was fine. Way too much yeast in suspension, look like a mistake even for unfiltered and bottle carbed beers. Serving type: can

Blonde doré. Belle mousse. Nez: houblon. Caramel. Malt biscuit. Orange. Herbe. Carotte. Bouche: forte amertume. Herbacé. Malté. Agrume. Fruit confit. Un peu terreuse. Légèrement épicé. Finale sèche. Très désaltérante.

Can from the LCBO. Pours a mostly clear orange with a generous white head which leaves some nice lace. Nose is very floral hops and grass. Medium to full oily body with average carbonation. Nice and bitter throughout but could use something more to hide the alcohol in the finish.

473 mL Can. Murky gold body with a frothy white head settling to a foamy film although it struggles to keep up the good looks. Intense aroma of pink grapefruit and its rind with sweet floral notes and intense resiny hops. I am enraptured. Light sweet malts dominate in the flavor with an aftertaste of pink grapefruit rind that lingers and tapers off in the finish. This beer rocks and rolls! Peace!

Well this was a surprise. I actually enjoyed this a great deal. Reasonably priced canadian IPA, poured from a can into a nonic pint. Heavy foamy head with a sediment filled coppery color. Sweet pine and fruit on the nose. Sweet fruit at first with a heavy velvety mouthfeel. Quite resinous and piney bitterness to finish, but still balanced. Will buy this again.

[can] Strawberry and lactic acid aroma with some pineapple and apple. Hazy gold with a lasting, white cover that is lacy. Floral and perfumey flavour that is very bitter. Slightly salty and with a note of dry peanuts. Moderately astringent feel with high carbonation and a lingering bitter bite.

Can. Pours an amber colour with a medium head and a decent amount of carbonation. Very nice aroma - lots of hops, tropical fruits - pineapple. Slightly sweet at the start, then a lot of grapefruit followed by a good bitterness. Pretty dry too. It's good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
