On tap @ MCBE - Hazed pale gold with a 1 finger tight pored cap...champagne carbonation...aroma of noble hops, tart citrus, sweet cereal tones and spice. Flavour profile is spicy-dry with citrus and fruit tones then a fast, sharp peppery finish - great take on this Rural French ale.

Cloudy orange, with aromatic hops quite noticeable. Amarillo dry hopping dominates the flavours. Herbal and vegetal flavours true to saison.

Tessic (746) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 20, 2012
This saison poured a clear, dark yellow colour with a minimal, soapy white head. Scents include yellow mustard, spice, very faint vinegar and light malts. First swig was almost peppery with other flavours of yeast and cinnamon. Finish was lightly bitter with light cinnemon and spice lingering.

Nice notes of lemone, some cereal with a pretty solid peppery finish. Love to try this one again, wish it was easier to get.

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2012 Very good phenolic and funky aspects over light and tart-sweet fruits make this pretty darn amazing. RE-TRY nice reasonably full slightly fat-sweet saison, did not tend to be dry at all, nice hopping, overly strong phenolic character and seemed to lack the funk and dryness to balance it out. RE SCORE 8 3 7 2 13 = 3.3

Hazed apricot/golden with a white foamy cap. Spicy nose hints at some biscuit and floral notes with honey. Fairly sweet, zesty, only a mild bitterness. Medium bodied, fairly sweet finish is slightly cloying. Good.

Tap at Toronto Fest of Beer. Fresh duty pale malt with a tout white head. The nose is fruity and a little bit spicy. A little bit of fruity spice and yeast. Pretty dry but could be dryer. It’s nice but kind of typical.

On tap. Clear dark gold with a foamy white head, hint of raspberry. Aroma is bready malt, some grass and grapefruit, earthy. Malty sweet. Slightly salty. Medium, soft and fizzy body. Finish is ok. Drinkable but not exceptional.
