Sometimes our neighbours are just too enticing to resist! In this case, our newest ward-winning product pays homage to our naughty neighbours to the south, as our American Pale Ale has something for everyone! For hop lovers, the huge aroma of citrus and pine greet the nose and the hops continue on the palate as hoppy flavour persists, leaving a remarkably easy drinking crisp, dry finish. We pack all this hop aroma and flavour in a brew that is only 4.9% on purpose, which leaves a hugely sessionable beer that is perfectly refreshing on hot summer days! No additives. No preservatives. Naturally carbonated for a smooth, crisp finish.

Pours a clear sparkling dark yellow with a whole lots of foamy white head and some visible carbonation. Smell is definite hops, lots of citrus, and a bit of a fruitier variety mixed with a bit of sweet toffee maltiness. Palate is medium bodied with a bit under average carbonation. Taste is slightly sweet at first then really quite bitter, and it stays bitter for quite a while. A competent APA.

It pours gold with straw highlights; the head is off-white and foamy. The aroma has notes of: mango, pine needles, and honey. The taste is lightly bitter that finishes as such; there are notes of: pine, grapefruit-zest, and cereal. The palate is light-medium bodied, has light carbonation and a short finish. Overall, it’s nicely fruity - quite light though.

Can from LCBO a: mango, citrusy, light piny app: clear pale small white head t/p: med body with moderate long bitter finish. O: pretty good. Didn’t find any date on the can. I’m under impression that my can wasn’t super fresh. Anyhow, like the body and texture.

One of my all-time favorites. The hops have a crispness compared to higher-alcohol IPAs. Very refreshing and light, but definitely still a full-flavored beer.

This is one of my go-to beers. Always have a 6-pack or a couple cans on hand as it’s a very easy-drinking beer and a top notch pale ale that is very flavourful but not too hoppy or bitter. It also looks great

On tap at Barley Brothers. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma combines tropical fruit with sweet citrus and has a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has more straw and grain with supporting notes of earthy citrus underlying.

473ml can from the LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario. Golden in colour with a thin white head, good lacing. The aroma is of light hops, caramel, oranges. The flavour is of light citrus, caramel sweetness, lightly bitter. Finishes smooth, some lingering sweetness.

Tap at Beer Revolution YEG. Hazy dark yellow in colour. Creamy and tightly beaded white cap. Citrusy nose. Grains, citrus and a bit of fruit taste, bit of dryness in the end. Pretty drinkable.

Bon deal.

473ml can brought back from Canada by Sarah. Unfiltered orange-yellow body. Frothy off-white head. Crisp mild lemony tinged hops, maybe some amarillo too. Thin pale golden malt body almost like a Golden Ale or Session IPA. Pretty good, sensible Canadian/UK feel. Very sessionable. OK.
