COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sometimes our neighbours are just too enticing to resist! In this case, our newest ward-winning product pays homage to our naughty neighbours to the south, as our American Pale Ale has something for everyone! For hop lovers, the huge aroma of citrus and pine greet the nose and the hops continue on the palate as hoppy flavour persists, leaving a remarkably easy drinking crisp, dry finish. We pack all this hop aroma and flavour in a brew that is only 4.9% on purpose, which leaves a hugely sessionable beer that is perfectly refreshing on hot summer days! No additives. No preservatives. Naturally carbonated for a smooth, crisp finish.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2013 Naughtiest on Cask, at The Only. Pale stone fruit and lemon aromas. Peachy color and half cloudy look, small of white head. Ale fruit and hops create dimensional peachy-bitter flavor with sweet lemon and long moderate bitterness. - re rate - liking the flavor and overall a point more for the peachiness.

Looks like a standard pale ale, albeit a quality one; nice head and lacing, cloudy amber body. Smell is rich in piney hops, light peach and orange - very nice. Taste is well balanced, sweet and grainy malts with good citrus and pine presence. Hoppy bitterness peaks at the right time, and doesn’t overstay its welcome. The beer doesn’t offer a lot of surprises, but it does what it needs to do exceptionally well.

Can from LCBO. Golden orange pour with large initial white head. Bold hop profile - aroma and taste - of pine and citrus. Bright palate, good hop bite, a little lingering on the back end but not too much. This is quite good.

Wow! I often overlook this style so I am glad I picked this up. All that a pale ale should be. Aroma was good. Very perfumey with grapefruit rind and fresh cut grass. Pour was a stunning hazy medium gold with lots of small floating sediment and a big puffy two finger white head so dense it looks like you could sit on it and not break through. Taste was outstanding so much hop flavor packed into such a small ABV. All green fresh hops with a light malt backbone. Good carbonation. This beer is a pale ale all other should aspire to be

Tasted this from the tall boy can at Pete's. Hoppy but well balanced. Citrus but mostly smooth hops. Dry and crisp finish, just like they advertise. F Avey---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg. Hazy golden/amber body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange pith, melon, hay and rust. Flavour of grapefruit, orange and steely bitterness. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Crisp and easy to drink.

UPDATED: JUN 23, 2016 12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 12/17/2015. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings down thew glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Awesome appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, light caramel, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, light caramel, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and minimal hop astringency lingering after the finish. Good dryness from bitterness, that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, crisp, moderately sticky/resinous, and lightly creamy/grainy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.9%. Overall this is a very nice American pale ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the low ABV and assertive bitterness. A very enjoyable offering.

Kauge (1591) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 6, 2016
Can at Tallboys in Toronto. Cloudy orange with good, well-lacing off-white head. The aroma is very pleasantly fruity, citrusy fresh. Citric peachy flavour, starts off with the stone fruits and continues more citrus-forward. Nice. Far from watery but still lightish on the palate, crisp but very thin carbonation. Lingering bitter finish. This APA is unimaginably superior to so many LCBO-bought IPA-s.
