COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sometimes our neighbours are just too enticing to resist! In this case, our newest ward-winning product pays homage to our naughty neighbours to the south, as our American Pale Ale has something for everyone! For hop lovers, the huge aroma of citrus and pine greet the nose and the hops continue on the palate as hoppy flavour persists, leaving a remarkably easy drinking crisp, dry finish. We pack all this hop aroma and flavour in a brew that is only 4.9% on purpose, which leaves a hugely sessionable beer that is perfectly refreshing on hot summer days! No additives. No preservatives. Naturally carbonated for a smooth, crisp finish.

On tap at Bar Hop. Great C-hop aroma, loads of citrus, but there is still a solid bready maltiness. Good carb, solod mouthfeel. Great citrusy finish. Just an all around great session pale ale, not too hoppy, but you get loads of great hop flavor, could drink it all night!

Keg. Hazy golden/amber body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange pith, melon, hay and rust. Flavour of grapefruit, orange and steely bitterness. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Crisp and easy to drink.

UPDATED: JUN 23, 2016 12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 12/17/2015. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings down thew glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Awesome appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, light caramel, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, light caramel, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and minimal hop astringency lingering after the finish. Good dryness from bitterness, that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, crisp, moderately sticky/resinous, and lightly creamy/grainy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.9%. Overall this is a very nice American pale ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the low ABV and assertive bitterness. A very enjoyable offering.

Can at Tallboys in Toronto. Cloudy orange with good, well-lacing off-white head. The aroma is very pleasantly fruity, citrusy fresh. Citric peachy flavour, starts off with the stone fruits and continues more citrus-forward. Nice. Far from watery but still lightish on the palate, crisp but very thin carbonation. Lingering bitter finish. This APA is unimaginably superior to so many LCBO-bought IPA-s.

bottle @ Jungle Jims / Cincinnati OH --- Strong aroma of pine hops. Clear medium amber color, huge, frothy white head that is slow to drop, fluffy bands of lace. Taste is slightly sweet malt that adds fizz and medium pine hops on the swallow. A long pine finish. It all works, but, due to the low abv, it all seems "distant," as though it isb’t all the way there. Otherwise, good stuff.

At a tasting, thanks, cloudy very light orange color, aroma of pomelo orange and shrubs, soapy flowery shrubby flavor and bitterness with a light maltiness in the back. Nice and drinkable.

Pours cloudy gold with a frothy white head that laces the glass. Bold hoppy and citrus aroma. Good balance taste of citrus and tropical fruits, hops and a bit of malts. Good beer.

This was fine, big bold hop aroma, but seemed a bit thin on the body. I’d order this one again knowing that it is below 5%.

Very cloudy golden beer. Smells orange, citrus and some resin. Light-medium bodied with good carbonation and hop crispness. Lightly bitter finish, really easy drinking, good.

473 mL Can. Deep gold body with a 3-finger frothy head settling but clinging and leaving blotchy lace. Grapefruit rind is first in line in the aroma, intense resiny hops, notes of grass and clover. A definite IPA taste of sweet light malts and grapefruit rind hops, citrus-sour astringent aftertaste, grapefruit rind finish. Perhaps a bit thin-bodied for a real IPA.
