3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Bar Hop.
Great C-hop aroma, loads of citrus, but there is still a solid bready maltiness. Good carb, solod mouthfeel. Great citrusy finish. Just an all around great session pale ale, not too hoppy, but you get loads of great hop flavor, could drink it all night!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can from the LCBO. Huge hop dominated aroma of grapefruit, grapefruit rind and citrus. All big C’s, god damn this is North American as shit. Not as bitter on the finish as the aroma would indicate, quite smooth and crisp. Almost pilsner-esque in terms of hoppy character on the finish .Light straw body with a thin white head.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tall boy can. Semi-filtered amber body, medium white head, lightly carbonated.
Aromas are sweet citrus, but with some caramel maltiness underlying it.
Mouthfeel is that combination of crisp and creamy, that I really like in a beer.
There is a nice light citrus on the tongue, but again a very nice balance to it with caramel malts definitely in the mix.
With its low 4.9% ABV and only 38 IBU, this might be the ultimate gateway beer for people looking to move away from macros, who aren’t quite yet ready to graduate to the heavy hitting IPAs. Regardless, I could quaff this thing on outdoor summer patios all day long.

4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Can, Embrun LCBO. Had this on tap many many times before but will rate from the can. Clear with some hazy medium to dark yellow, nice small foamy head. What a lovely aroma, straight from the crack of the can and then from the glass - fresh grapefruit hops, orange citrus as well. I love this aroma - like rubbing hops in your hand. Mouthfeel is foamy and vibrant. Taste - some light malt sweetness up front, herbal, fruity, citrusy hops in middle, and then aggressive hop bitterness in fish. All remaining well balanced with light malt body. Clean. What a very drinkable hoppy beer. Kicks the ass of just about any other "Session IPA" style beers that I have had. Seriously well done Nickel Brook - so glad to be able to get this out here in cans.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: DEC 2, 2014 Pours a nice clean pale amber, frothy white head and perfect carbonation. Mild citrus and pine flavours on the palate, and just enough bitterness from the hops to make it interesting. 4.9% makes it a reasonable brew for a work night. So far the closest thing to my "perfect" beer that I?ve found yet. Well done!
