750mL Bottle. Yellow-gold body with a frothy white head settling to a film leaving lots of blotchy lace. Intense resiny hops are the main feature in the aroma; citrus and floral notes. And flavor! Pale sweet malts shine through without imposing in any way lime the bouquet. Herbal hop aftertaste followed by a long smooth linger. Smooth and silky mouth feel.

*Beer Review* Nicklebrook Wet Hop Pale Ale. Very yellow wheat like pour. Quite a bit of fizzy white head that is leaving rather nice lacing. Slight hoppy scent. Not as strong as expexted. What an odd taste. It tastes wet. Seiously it tastes wet. Recently washed. Sweet finish. A bit of bitterness in the middle. Easy to drink. A bit odd but jothing special.

Single bottle at the LCBO and did not recognize that this was a beer from this brewery, as it is quite different from their others. Pours a slight hazed, golden colour with a small frothy head that leaves a creamy slim top and lacing all-around. The mouthfeel is wet (like the title implies) with the hop in the background, and the grain that lingers a bit with the light grass. Quite a nice, grainy and mildly hoppy Pale Ale that is easy to drink. Having this one before my Christmas eve dinner.

750 mL bottle from the LCBO, served in a stem glass. Pours hazy golden with a small white head that fades quickly to a thin remnant, leaving no lace. The nose is fresh with notes of grapefruit, lemon, pale malts, grass and flowers. The flavour is mild, with a light malty sweetness paired with subtle floral and tropical fruity hops. It closes out with a subtle, English-style hop finish. On the palate it is light in body with a watery texture and minimal carbonation. Overall, this is a very soft pale ale with minimal hops and a light, watery body. Wet or dry, this could use more hops. 2013-12-12

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2013 Pours misty sunburst orange with a wet kushy hop bouquet that smells so stanky that you’re not sure whether you should roll this or sip it.

Pours a hazy gold with a small white head that leaves little lace. Aroma is fresh green vegetables, chlorophyll like, fresh grass, citrus, and light malty sweetness. Flavour is green vegetables, fresh grass, citrus, mild bitterness, and a lightly sweet pale malt presence.

Thanks to cfrancis for this one. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a small white head and no lace. Aroma of citrus, steamed veggies, chlorophyll, fresh cut grass and light sweet malts. Taste is veggies, tropic fruit, fresh cut grass, caramel maltiness and a nice smooth smooth bitterness throughout. Medium carbonation gives and a medium body give this beer a very easy to drink feel.

750ml bottle from the LCBO. Pale yellow with a hint of amber and an initial generous head that fades to a thin layer that coats the beer. Muted and wet tropical hops with an overlay of caramel malts, refreshing. Moderate carbonation with a strong flavour profile yet easy to drink, little too sweet on the finish for my liking although there is an underlying bitterness throughout.

750ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a hazy very pale orange with a generous white head and lots of lacing. Nose is fresh cut grass, hay and citrus with a layer of honey in the background. Lots of hops bitterness through the front and middle but smoothed out by a peaches and honey sweetness. The finish could use some more punch. The body is light and slick with average carbonation. Very easy drinking.

Aroma of some citrus hops with a lot of malt here. More like an English Pale Ale in flavour. Leaves with light bitterness. Pours clear orange with decent head and lacing. Bottle.
