2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
355 mL bottle. Pours hazy burnt orange with a thin white cap. On the nose, clove, cinnamon and pumpkin and a hint of malt. Taste is somewhat watery, mildly sweet and spiced. Thin to moderate mouth feel and medium carbonation. Not to my taste.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from brewery. Aroma: metallic, malt, pumpkin, and spices bordering on artificial. The taste is just too loaded with spices for me. Lots of cinnamon which may or may not be real, but is too prominent nonetheless.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
355 ml bottle from the brewery. Deep orange with a small white head. Nice spice and grame crackery pumpkin ale. Probably more enjoyable in season.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
on tap at kick off. I over imbibed on the pumpkin this year, wearing myself out, and generally unsatisfied with all the varieties. But this post-fall season had me chillin at kickoff, and the second best beer of the night was this Pie eyed. Funny how no one seems to know the ABV. Prolly not as high as I’d like; still: the pleasantly present anise, clove and NUTMEG qualities of this beer, along with the lack of sweetness, make this, for me, one of my top pumpkin ales. Nutmeg, I think, is the key for me.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle, pours a almost clear black or clear dark brown, the aroma was nice it lots of spice things like nutmeg and sagey. The flavour I got a lot of black licorse flavour, which I wasn’t huge on. Overall, this was decent, just not my fav pumpkin ale

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A hazed amber ale with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, a butty mineral malt with light boiled veggies. In mouth, a nice smooth pumpkin ale with ginger and nutmeg, a bit light but good. As Pie Eyed Pumpkin. On tap at Arrow and Loon, Oct. 17 2012.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap. Hazy orange pour, fizzy white head. Aroma is cereal malt, pumpkin, nutty and earthy. A little sweet and chewy. Cereal and almost root beer flavor, hint of black tea on the dry finish. It was ok. Not an overwhelming pumpkin though.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Not bad.. Good orange colour and little head on tap at vicars vice. Pumpkin taste is pretty mellow but good spice taste.
