Aroma honey fairly sweet with mild spice. Nice. 7+
Appearance amber gold with slight haze. Lighter off white top.
Flavor and Palate : Easy going clean pumpkin brew. Good profile ,balanced for style. Good play btw. Fruit and spices. Solid seasonal offering.

Drinkable pumpkin beer, in small doses. Light orange colour. Fresh from the brewery. Cheesy aroma, dry finish.

Enjoyed at Arrow & Loon on cask, and under the name Pi-eyed Pumpkin. Pours a pretty hazy amber colour with lots of tiny particles, spices floating around. Foamy beige head that surprisingly stays quite a long time, with decent lacing. Lots of pumpkin in the aromas with some nice spices. Again, the pumpkin in the taste is pretty strong, over the spices with some decent hops, grassy notes lingering. Pretty nice real-pumpkin ale with the spices well-blended. Worth it on cask.

Bottle from my brother in-law. Pours a pure copper, not see through, finger of off white head some lacing spots. Nose is a little pumpkin spice, a bit off almost skunks vegetal. Tastes a little sweet, and some pumpkin and spice, touch bitter. Not stellar but okay.

Tap at Stack, Toronto. The aroma is full and pleasant, hoppy with flowers, almost like a weizen, subtle but strong. The taste is nice as well, not too much pumpkin at all. Nice!

355 mL bottle. Pours hazy burnt orange with a thin white cap. On the nose, clove, cinnamon and pumpkin and a hint of malt. Taste is somewhat watery, mildly sweet and spiced. Thin to moderate mouth feel and medium carbonation. Not to my taste.

Bottle from brewery. Aroma: metallic, malt, pumpkin, and spices bordering on artificial. The taste is just too loaded with spices for me. Lots of cinnamon which may or may not be real, but is too prominent nonetheless.

355 ml bottle from the brewery. Deep orange with a small white head. Nice spice and grame crackery pumpkin ale. Probably more enjoyable in season.

On tap at Bar Hop. A lighter shade of orange amber, almost no head. Pumpkin and spice aroma shows up as it warms

341ml bottle, under the name Pie-yed, cloudy amber hue, with a bubbly white head, with a yeasty, pumpkin pie nose, with some spicy nutmeg, cinnamon, clove accents, with a toasted, biscuity, caramel, bread malty note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate witrh a nice pumpkin pie, cinnamon, gingerbread, nutmeg, clove spicy character, with a biscuity, toasted, bready, caramel malty, pie crust flavour, with a toffeeish, kind of carrot cake undertone, leading towards an allspice, pumpkin pie, biscuity maltiness finish.

on tap at kick off. I over imbibed on the pumpkin this year, wearing myself out, and generally unsatisfied with all the varieties. But this post-fall season had me chillin at kickoff, and the second best beer of the night was this Pie eyed. Funny how no one seems to know the ABV. Prolly not as high as I’d like; still: the pleasantly present anise, clove and NUTMEG qualities of this beer, along with the lack of sweetness, make this, for me, one of my top pumpkin ales. Nutmeg, I think, is the key for me.
