A clear brown ale with a thin white head. In sweet fruity malt with light rye, dried fruits, orange peels, nice. In mouth, loads of spices, caramel malt, nutmeg and cinnamon, alcohol warmth.

Darker than expected pour, very hazy, canít see through it. The thick parts are brown with the thing parts (of the glass) showing a nice amber. Def. looks good. Smells like a mixed drink more than a beer. Toffee and candy. Kind of tastes like a mixed drink. Like a weak spiced rum. Itís spicy the kind of spice that lingers on the tongue a cinnamon kind of hot. Itís sweet as well. Boozy, now that I actually like in a beer or mixed drink. That tongue burn lingers. Okay this isnít bad, itís very different. Itís probably the best thing Iíve had from Nickel Brook. Just doesnít have enough beer characteristics for me.

bottle. Poured clear deep copper with a thin beige head. Very spicy aroma, ginger and vanilla. Medium thick mouthfeel, a bit oily. Flavour is tart cherry, peppery notes, and nutmeg. Thereís a whole lot going on here.
