Before adding yeast: clear yellow body - nothing like a belgian white. With the yeast added: muddy but still very yellow for a Belgian white. Lovely off-white creamy/rocky head - nice looks. Aroma of citrus, orange - not very intense but nice. Moderately bitter, lightly citric sour flavour. Heavily carbonated. Quite ok, low bodied. Bit weak.

33cl bottle. Dorée, col blanc disparaît vite. Arôme fruité, léger houblon et citron, note grains, malt pale. En bouche, bière légère avec une faible amertume, aspect de froment et levure avec une fine pointe d’épice. Malt léger cara/pale/2row avec un fini pétillant laissant une touche terreuse/poudreuse. Sympa, facile à boire, bonne Tarwebier.

Surprisingly clear golden with a small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has lots of fresh citric zest, fresh wheaty malts, some mild spiciness. Some green apple peel. Highish carbonation, fine creamy and light dry mouthfeel. Flavour has good wheaty maltiness, the citric notes are very apparent, mild spiciness. Good elegant balance between the sweetness and slightly sharp citrus. Fresh and very drinkable.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Citric and lemony fruity aroma with a moderate wheat-character, a touch of bubblegum and slightly spicy notes. Slightly sweet and bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Wheaty and citric taste with mildly spicy notes of coriander; moderately dry and fruity finish with a tinge of bitterness and coriander spice. Okay. 09.I.11

Bottle 33 cl from Willems in Grobbendonk (B). Pale yellow a little veiled, nice head with laces on the glass, low sparkling. Modest nose of wheat, orange and spices, key of Pils. The mouth is slightly acid, rather round, with hints of cardamom and ginger. Light touches of vanilla and laurel. Finale pleasant and soft, yeasted also.

(Bottled) Opaque orange, not much head. More interesting nose than in an average witbier, with lots of orange fruitiness. Same with the flavor - lots of orange and mild spiciness, but dry overall. Quite full-bodied for the style with low carbonation. A very nice witbier. 4245

A hazy yellow colored beer, with a white head. The aroma of wheat malts a little sour and some fruits. The tate of wheat with fruits and coriander. The aftertaste has some bitter with a small sour.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy yellow pretty better than their bigger neighbour Belgian White. Good spicy taste and a good bitter finish.
