Mexican-style milk stout brewed with poblano peppers, aged with cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla beans fermented in oak barrels. Sips like a fresh, creamy cinnamon roll!

Bottle. Deep brown with a small head. Spicy coffee cake. Cocoa. Rich, sweet and spicy. Taste of coffee creamer, milk, toffee, earth. Nice and sweet. Dry finish. Some apple skin. Nice.

Bottle shared by Felipe. Tasting bottle #3. Pours clear deep mahogany, approaching black, medium fizzy tan head that dissipates very quickly and leaves minimal lacing. Aroma is cocoa, cinnamon, tart oak tannins, a bit of chili pepper. Flavor is light sweet and lightly tart, oaky acetic notes bring some sourness; a bit of basement funk present as well, along with mushroom (!) and lots of tobacco. Light body, high carbonation. Based on the description I would have to say this one is milking along an infection of some sort, but in any case it ain’t nothing to write home about.

bottle from clarkvv in trade. aroma was of a milk stout; nice dark pour; low carbonation. taste was subdued is the best word; nice to drink but nothing stood out for me - unlike most milk stouts, this was light on lactic and sweetness (good thin); there was some slight heat; I never got vanilla.

Bottle share thanks to beechner224. Big roasty character, stale like oxidized character, pepper - vegetal, light spicy notes. Peppers and vegetal flavor also, roasty, oxidized stale.

bottleshare thanks to Beechner224. Nose is strong virgin oak and slightly smokey. Pour is pitch black. Flavor is mostly vegetal with a slight heat. No cinnamon or vanilla really. Ok but just mediocre. Not really flavorful. No wow factor.

Bottle from Steve. Pours black tan head. Aroma is almost smoky, hint if oak. Taste is a lot of the same, oak, smoke, missing vanilla, nutmeg, etc. just ok

This was great. Subtle flavors across the board is a nice change of pace for some of these adjunct laden stouts. Actually came off dry and easy to drink with nice touches of cinnamon, pepper, vanilla, and nutmeg. FInish has very light heat and minimal sweetness with a nice little roast. Great.

Pours murky brownish black. Aroma brings the nutmeg and some vanilla and tapioca, and ground chiles but not spicy. Flavor is smooth sweet milky stout with cinnamon very subtle but more nutmeg and smooth smoky roasted malts.
