Small bottle in Kotor. Is gold, with a fading head. The aroma is mainly sweet, with some late plastic phenol--although nothing too offensive. The sweetness thankfully does not become cloying and actually there is a toasted malt character, similar to munching carapils, which is quite pleasant. all in all not a bad macroswill.

Brown 330ml bottle, 5.2%, best before 16th Nov 09, drank 6th Nov 09. Poured into my Veltins stemmed tulip glass, the beer produced a lovely white foaming head, below was a bright mid-golden lager body. Gets my normal score of 3 for a non-smelling lager/pilsner. Slight malt esters came from it as the beer warmed. OK, another imported lager/pilsner for the UK, loads to choose from, this could have been one of twenty or more. Nothing wrong with it, but it wasn’t a world beater. Clean, bright, refreshing and a little dry in the aftertaste. Helps me drink my way around the world, but I’ll not be returning to this brewery in a hurry.

motelpogo (6309) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - APR 15, 2012
bottled, thanks to matt and bara for bringing this back from their summer holiday. pale yellow with barely any head; aroma of rusty old drinking fountain; dull texture; hints of creamed corn and no bitterness

reebtogi (4109) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 27, 2012
355ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a 2 finger white head that settled quickly leaving only a few specks of lacing on the glass. Aroma is bready malts with mild flowery hops. Taste is light malty sweetness with a little bit more hop bitterness. Not bad for what it is, just not quite there and was just what I was expecting from this one.

Kita (1000) - Koper, SLOVENIA - DEC 23, 2011
Bottled, 0.33l. Pours clear golden with small frothy white head and lively carbonation. I’m not sure whether my sense of smell was falling apart, but my nose noticed sunscreen, detergent, fish and rotten honey - this was the odd side... On the other hand bready malt and flowery hops were noted, too. Relatively sweet malty taste followed by long light bitter aftertaste. Thin to medium bodied, slick texture and fizzy carbonation in palate.

Tim Webb (229) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - AUG 27, 2011
Bottled, in a regular restaurant in Montenegro. An oddly unbalanced beer with quite sharply bitter hopping but a firm malt body. I can’t imagine it would be a great traveller.
