Bottle. Pale gold with a white foam. Aromas are corn and grain with hints of metal. Flavours are light malts with some soapiness. Some grassy hops with a sweet caramel and cardboard on the finish. Not very good.

Golden colour, uninspirinig, slightly offness to the finish and lacking in character. Surprised by its comparitively high rating here.

330ml. Heavier maltbase version of the popular Niksicko. Frankly I’d prefer to spend less and have the friendlier original. This is stronger in flavor but at the cost of a heavy, rich mouthfeel that does not befit a beer of this caliber. Very metallic, grassy and honey. Syrupy as can be for a normal pilsener. Not worth effort.

0.33l (ugly) bottle courtesy of and shared with heavy (thanks!)
Poured a yellow-golden thick medium sized white head that went away at a medium pace. Slightly dusty hop nose, light sulphur and cabbage. Sweet candyish taste (reminiscent of Cool) but this time lighter and surrounded by some oily, dusty hopiness. Ok beer, nothing more than that.

330ml bottle at Tivat Airport, Montenegro. Thin, white layer on the top of a straw coloured body. Plain mild malty aroma followed by a satisfying sweet malty taste with a touch of herbal hops towards the ending. Smooth and thirst-quenching there and then (30.08.2008).

Bottle thanks to jjpm74. Pours a clear golden body with a medium white head that quickly goes down. The aroma is lots of sweet malt, some butterscotch and apple. The flavor is nice; tons of sweet fruity flavors, a crisp malt, some sweet butter, straw, and overall a smooth and very easy to drink beer. Not bad at all. Thanks John for a nice brew.

draught and bottled in Podgorica. another standard balkan ’pilsner’, bereft of hop, and with little to commend it. gold in colour as the name implies, with a slightly cloying finish
