MartinT (4241), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Jul 26, 2007 My Bottom Line:
Its many toasted malts produce a comfortable body within which spicy, citrusy hops quietly wake up.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam dissipates into the dark amber.
-This tastes very similar to their blond; perhaps the same base beer with the addition of some darker malts?
-The soft effervescence works with the showcased maltiness.
-Nothing spectacular here, although it is more flavorful than their vapid blond.
-Note that the label only says "Nikko Beer", but this is definitely not the same beer as the blond "Nikko Beer".
Bottle; best before August 1st (had on June 22nd). Thx Tim!
