Nikšićko Pivo, brewed with natural ingredients and pure mountain water, is the number one quality beer in the former Yugoslavia. A pils beer, it has an alcohol content of 5% vol and contains 11.4% malt extract.

This bottle may be past it’s prime, I see a date of 6/24/07 on the label so it’s a year old at best. Dark gold pour with a 1" thick head and blanketing lacing. No real aroma to speak of, neutral to the nose and very faint. Medium bodied with a strong, funky bitterness. Stale, offensive aftertaste that is really distracting. The stinging hops overpower the pale malt. This may be too old to be worthwhile.

Pours yellow with a large white head. Smells of sweet malt and grassy. Tastes peppery with some caramel and a vegetal finish. I was hoping for a beer that tasted like a pilsner here.

Interesting aroma, not really in a good way, almost has a hint of sweat. Seems like more of a pale lager to me.

Light tan clear color with a short white head. Aroma of malt and sweet straw. Flavor is rather uninteresting yet not offensive, with sweet malt and a hint of medicinal hops. More like a pale lager than a pils. Mediocre.

What more can really be said about this one? It’s a typical pale lager with the pale yellowish colored pour, a weak initial head that fizzles out and doesn’t lace. The aroma is sloppy corn and adjuncts. The flavor followed suite, and was your typical sloppy malt heavy pale lager with a lingering unclean adjunct aftertaste. Another country in the passport, tick, tick, tick!

Bottle@Home. Grain and light yeast aroma. Pale yellow, white head, fair lace. Light grainy, bitter, light herbal, thinnish. Refreshing but that’s it.

Canned (thanks mabjork). Yellowish golden colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is malts, hay and some mild sweetish notes. Flavour is malts, hay, grass and some sweetness. Quite refreshing. hayish aftertaste.

500nl bottle from Oklahoma liquor. Pale yellow with 1 inch head with decent lacing. Mild honey aroma. Honey in the taste too which has an unpleasant astringent finish, Doesn’t do much for me. While not awful, I’m waiting for this one to end so I can have a different one.

pours yellow, white frothy head. delicate (today’s word, evidently, for non-existant) aroma of air. delicate flavor of grain. inoffensive. medium bodied, much more full than i expected from the look and taste. too mild and too inoffensive to amount to much (two too’s and two to’s in one sentence. not to mention two two’s in that one).
