UPDATED: DEC 12, 2008 [bottle - 500 ml] Clear and light yellow pour with a very fizzy white head. Very light aroma of corn, metal and straw. Lightly sweet taste with a hop and malt beginning and a very bitter and dry finish. Not that great.

500 ml bottle, Habersham Beverages, Savannah, Ga. New country - 1st in a while! Pours a medium golden with a pithy snow white head. Aroma has a bit of pepper with some Saaz hops pungency. Slighlty bland flavor, not offensive. Some cardboard with a touch of honey and a wee bit of alcol and pepper. Mouthfeel is about right for a pils, thinnish. Overall, palatable.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 DarkElf (2961) - La Jolla, California, USA - MAR 15, 2005
(16.9 oz bottle: $2.49 at Holiday Wine Cellar in Escondido, CA) A moderately flavorful pilsener that is pleasant enough, but nothing here really elevates this above average. It’s grainy, lightly sweet, light hoppy and grassy, with a moderate bitterness taking hold in the finish. The mild aroma is mostly bready, with some vague hoppiness in the background. The somewhat clean palate is fairly well carbonated and about average in body for the style. It’s totally clear in appearance and the color is medium yellow. Small, whitish head fades to practically nothing. Some modest lacing is left on the glass.

Orange gold color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is grainy, grassy and a touch sweet. A medium bodied pilsner. Malts are fruity and sweet. Crisp, slightly spicy hops. Nice balance. Clean and crisp. Perhaps a little thin tasting, but still a very acceptable pilsner. Looking at the ratings there seems to be a HUGE amount of variability with this beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a big foamy head. No real aroma to speak of. Flavor comes close to a pilsner urquell. You get some clean hops and a bit of malt. Not bad, i would say it is a step down from its czech brothers but still worth trying.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 dornoy (699) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 2, 2004
White long-lasting head, some sticking to the glass when it’s disappeared. Gold colour, nice malty-hoppy aroma. Tastes clean, a bit better than a usual pilsner. Bitter finish, but otherwise no fault, standard middle-good beer.
