1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pours a nice gold color with a foamy head that leaves decent lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is predominately chemical with a hint of maltiness. Not appetizing. Initial taste is all bitterness, vile really. The flavor is quite cheap (for lack of a better term). After the first sip, more malt is noticeable. Overall, I’d never want to let this fill any of my glasses again. Strictly for rating.

0,33ml can. Clear pale yellow, medium-sized head. Smells sour and dusty, but tastes quite nice. Malty with an interesting fruity sourness, somehow dusty, slightly hoppy as well, especially in the finish.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: JUL 17, 2007 Bottled. A pale blonde beer with a light white head. The aroma is sweet and malty with touches of hops. Dry taste with good hop bitterness that lingers for some time. Clean and surely decent beer.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle: Misty yellow, thin head and a touch of lacing. The nose is a bit corny and sweet, but has a nice tangy slap of hops for such an out of the way pilsner. The flavor is also nicely hopped, crisp and nearly clean as I’d like. The finish is a bit too adjunctive and some strong alcohol esters are present. Decent though. Bought at Bo Ex, the bosnian market here in Boise.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500mL bottle. Clear yellow with a tall building fluffy white head. A bit of a corn nose, standard for an international lager. Dusty and yeasty and almost a little fruity, like sweet fruity corn, but for the most part the nose is unoffensive and light. Taste is similar, some light crispness which is nice, some sweet, eastery, fluffy yeast and lemon flavors, some sweet corn as well. A clean pils, not too bad but basically par for the course.

Bottled, drunk on location at Lake Ohrid, Macedonia.
Decent lager, good bitter flavour with decent lagered hop finish. Nothing special but certainly a decent Czech style lager.
