Bottled. Pale colored, lots of carbonation. A dry beer with a dominant bitterness and intense grainy aromas. Still one of the better pale beers in Ex-Yugoslavia.

Bottle. Pours a pale gold with a moderate white head, no lacing. A mild bland aroma. A touch bitter upfront, very watery and stale tasting. Light body with a carb tingle.

MadMan (495) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - OCT 14, 2007
Bottle. Pours a pale gold with very little white head. Aroma is very faint on this, almost too faint to define. Body is light, well carbonated, not fizzy, but not overly active. Flavor is lightly citric and sour, malty, and has some hop like bite but not really strong on the hop like flavors. Finish is clean and tart, dryer, with light bitterness, although the bitterness and hop bite linger longer, which is nice. This one is juicy, but light and watery with very thin flavor profile. The ctiric tartness makes it easy drinking, and the decent hop bite makes it worthwhile. Not bad at all, not good, but I could drink a bunch of these with no problem.

Pale yellow look and notes of mild hops and slight caramelly maltyness. Thin and weak. Thanks for another country, René!

Bottle @ ChristianScheffel tasting. Bought in ’Yugo Market’, Nijmegen.
Pours a light, pale golden with a medium frothy white head. Aroma is primarily mild hops; grassy and citric. Okay mouthfeel for a pilsner. Flavour is sweeter than the aroma, with a slight biting citric bitterness at the far end.

Zrenjanin, 07. Another mass-produced tasteless lager, just slightly better than the two most popular beers in Serbia, but not by much.

0.5 l can. Pours golden body with medium head that went away quickly. Pale aroma of grass hops and some malts. Flavor a bit bitter, not enough for a Pilsener definitely, sweetish and a bit metallicity is felt, too. This soft carbonated beer has got a bit oily texture and fortunately no metallic palate. Drinkable, but definitely expected more from this lower average beer.

50 cL bottle; bb ??/11/07. Nice aroma of light malt and grassy hop. Brassy gold color with a white head that flattened quickly. Near medium in body, with almost creamy carbonation. Starts with decent malt and quickly follows with decent bitter. Finish is more dry than not, and the bitter is good. Perhaps a little too sweet for the style. Or not. Too bad AB can’t market something this good.
