(Can, 0.5 l, at tiong’s tasting, thanks Marduk, 20160109) The beer poured pale golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had paper and something metallic. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, paper and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet. A rather poor pale lager.

Bottle at a tasting provided by markoijelena. Hilariously pale, like a macro cider that MolsonCoors would produce in Canada. Smells a bit like the apples I forgot to throw away. Light bitter finish after a slightly sweet onslaught at the start.

0.33 l bottle at Marko’s place, best before July 2016, thanks for sharing Marko! Clear, pale straw yellow with a white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly grassy aroma of straw, cereals and sweet malts. Sweetish-malty taste of straw, cereals and sweet malts, followed by a short, minimally bitter, slightly grassy finish. Thin body, effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, just very bland.

Montenegrin macro lager with medium thick, irregular, off-white head retaining quite well over a cristal clear, attractively deep golden blonde beer, cristal clear with vivid sparkling. Aroma of sugar corn, soggy sandwiches, damp cloth, breakfast cereals, industrial apple juice touch, dry straw, wet paper - in all, not the worst aroma thinkable for the style, and no sign of that awful lightstruck effect in spite of the green bottle (must have been stored completely dark). Neutral in overall flavour profile, with very light and watery body (also since for this particular style, it seems a bit undercarbonated), with grainy and very lightly bready malt sweet character in the middle, a certain metallic ’sound’ and, unexpectedly, a clearly noticeable grassy and floral hop bitterness in the end, stronger than average in a standard pale lager, drying a bit and lending a bit of body to the finish. I had way worse pale lagers than this, if the lightstruck effect can be avoided, this is quite alright for its particular style - a style which, of course, always remains bland, simple and monotonous.

500ml can (thanks Pitsu & Co). Clear golden color. Tiny size, white head, stays as a ring. Cardboard, sweet, apples, malty in aroma. OMG! Apples, cardboard, malty, hop extract in taste. Malty and papery in aftertaste. Typical macro-horror. Never again!
