COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

330ml bottle from Systembolaget. Clear, golden, white head. Sweet aroma, banana, citrus, yeast. Mild carbonation, light body, watery. The taste has some sweet fruits, fresh green spices. The finish is dry, with flavors of yeast and with some rough bitter that does not sit right with the fruity sweetness.

It’s not fair to rate a beer that boasts to be "generöst humlad med tre amerikanska humlesorter" when the best before date was more than half a year ago, but since I often prefer lightly hopped Belgian ales an old brew might not be that bad after all. It pours a clear medium amber body with a very large, long-lived, egg-white head that sticks to the glass. The aroma is pretty strong, hoppy (yay, not too old!) and sweet, with notes of sweet fruits, Belgian yeast, caramel and pine needles in the back. Rather strong flavour of sweet fruits, Belgian yeast and caramel. Weaker notes include pale malts, grain and red berries. Light to moderate sweet taste with a moderate bitter finish of average length. Light to mid-bodied, dry and moderately carbonated. A decent brew.

Pours clear golden/amber with a white and quickly diminishing head. Aroma is sweetish and fruity. Taste is sweetish too with notes of caramel, banana and grain. A hint of spicy bitterness. Soft carbonation. Quite a short finish and slightly watery mouthfeel. A refreshing brew anyway. (330ml bottle, bb 04.08.2015)

Poured from bottle, clear gold with low white head. Aroma with notes of banana and leaves, some bread and spice. Taste is sweet with a bitter streak and some citrus notes. Too mild for my taste.

Flaska från SB. Gyllengul med vit skumkrona. Doft av gummi och tuggummi. Vattnig söt smak av bröd och harsyra.

Bottle from bursprak. Many thanks! Clear golden colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Sweet aroma with notes of corn, caramel and banana. Harsh bitter finish. Very unbalanced. Couldn’t finish the whole bottle. Drain pour unfortunately.

Bottle. Golden clear. Pale malty, sort of biscuity, with a nice hoppy, continental light herby grassy feel. Med bodied, malty biscuits. Dryish hoppy finish. Flavourful, nice. Lots of citrus, slight belgian yeasty esters, clean malts. Could drink this all day. Isn’t offending in any way, just nice drinkable, not too eccentric either, a sessionable one.

33 cl systembolaget.

Clear golden, low, white head. Aroma is yeasty and fruity, kind of wheat beer-like. Taste is sweet and fruity with banana, pine, spices and a bitterness that’s barely there at all. Soft mouthfeel, medium body, low-medium carbonation. Finishes sweet and banana-ish. Refreshing and drinkable, not memorable.
