Melker (231) - Varberg, SWEDEN - NOV 5, 2012
Hoppy floral aroma, sweet malty taste, toffee, caramel and bread. Fruity taste as well but the bitterness in the aftertaste is very short. Easy to drink, refreshing.

33cl bottle. Pours a honey colour with a nice fluffy head. The nose has some IPA attributes - pine and flowers, with just a slight hint of malt. The taste has an upfront floral or grapefruit note, followed by some malt sweetness, then finishing in more floral/herb notes, possibly fennel. The palate is medium bodied with a substantial malty middle texture and a nice clean finish. Overall, a good beer though not sure it is recognisable as an altbier, rather an IPA.

GSAP (539) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 29, 2012

Ogólnie smaczne i przyjemne w piciu

Bottle 33 cl. Pours clear copper in color with a small off-white head. Nutty and malty on the nose. Malty and quite hoppy in taste. Nutty and grainy in aftertaste. A bit too much carbonated and too thin.

TET (1905) - FINLAND - OCT 24, 2012
A clear, brown beer with a almost medium and blond head. Aroma of roasted malts and bread, some metallic and hint of aromatic fruitness. Taste is mainly bready, ryebread, mild roastiness, medium level of bitterness and it’s slightly herbal. Light+, balanced carbonation, but slightly harsh to drink. At the beginning this beer isn’t convinced me, but a little bit later, it changed to clearly better, light aromatics with nice, quite strong and long hoppyness are actually quite nice, good beer.

0.33 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Copper to amber color. Herbal, grassy and dusty aroma with some nutty and toasty notes. Bitter, grassy and herbal taste with toffeish and bready maltiness in the background. Light to medium body, smooth palate. I like my alts maltier, here it is in the background.

Dark reddish copper colour with small greyish white head. Sweet malt, sweet berry hops, caramel and hints of metal in aroma. Flavour is berry and fruity hops, grainy malt and some sweetness. Rather dry and moderately bitter. Not very balanced but drinkable.

330 ml bottle.
Pours a copper colour with a small white head. Aroma of almonds, bread and some malts. Flavour of almonds, grains, toasted malts, quite bitter grassy hops and bread. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and a grainy, strong bitter finish. Good.
