Juicy malty flavor and light fruitiness freed from acid bitterness. Definitely a beer according to my taste, recommended!

Amber in colour, Nils Oscar Ctrl Alt Delete is in my opinion more of a amber ale than a German Altbier. There are some noticeable hops present in the aroma, but not in the extent found in e.g. pale ales. It is refreshing and well-suited for many occasions, but unfortunately seems to lack some character.

Flaske 0,33l fra Systembolaget, Kiruna. Drukket hjemme 6 Mai 12. Gyldenbrun. Høyt bobleskum som varer ei god stund og fester seg til glasset. Lite aroma. Malt & metall. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken er tung malt med innslag av frukt. Kraftig tørr bitter ettersmak.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours clear copper/amber with a white head with small bubbles. Aroma is dominated by a malty character, hard bread, caramel, grain, some floral notes from the hops. Starts of like a sweetened hard bread, followed by some bitterness, leaves some lingering grainy notes but finish is quite watery. Overall a decent beer.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear coppery amber colour, looks quite carbonated but doesn’t have much of a head. Aroma is quite malty and fruity. I got bready/yeasty aromas too but not as much as the fruit. Taste... winter berries. Lots of winter berries and caramel, quite malty too. Low carbonation considering it looks quite fizzy.

Bottle 33 cl, SB. pours clear copper amber with a small beige shortlived head. Aroma is malty, dry, fruity, some smoke, and bready. Flavor is fruity, very malty, dry in front some yeast and breadyness and acidy tones in the middle together with bitterness which grows stronger towards the end. Finishes dry and longlived bitter. Very nice.

I really like this. Have not had too many alts so it’s hard to compare with others in the same style. Anyhow. Pale brown. Malty and somehow yeasty nose. Taste is nutty, yeasty and malty with moderate bitterness and some sweetness.

Bottle. Dark golden, beige head. Aroma: fruity, nuts, grass. Taste: fruity, semi-sweet maltiness, some kind of candy, some grass, nuts and spices, medium bitter. Medium-bodied. Tastes nice enough, but not a favourite style.
