COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle from Systembolaget, thanks to Martin for sharing this bottle with me. Pours hazy amber with a minimal head. Aroma is bready, sweet and malty, some spices. Taste is a bit yeasty, bready, malty, has some spicyness as in belgian beers. Fenugreek is apparent at the end. An interesting touch! This was interesting, never had a beer like this before. Pretty hard to define both aroma and taste. And that it was a saison? I had no idea.

Dark amber colour, cloudy with sediment. Distinct belgo associations on the nose with foam bananas and sweet saison yeast. Well balanced flavour with good sweetness/dryness, decent length and a very light bitterness. Nice and tasty.

Bottle from Systembolaget, shared with esp0r & edvard, september 27th 2013. Hazy amber body, low beige head. Aroma of herbs and spicy yeast, taste is fruity with faint hints of spices. Feels something is missing here, although it doesn’t taste bad I feel there’s not enough stuff going on.

Deep orange, massive beige head. Spicy, fruity, quite heavy on the aroma, malts and resins. Moderate sweet, heavy malts, a bit chemical, a touch of fernet branca, some oak. Moderate bitter. Quite ok - can’t find the mushrooms though

Abrakarl (309) - SWEDEN - SEP 15, 2013
Very nice beer - apparently one of their seasonals - with an unusual taste. The aroma is a bit of a disappointment. This bottle was stored by me for 1 year before drinking it. Must say it was a pleasure sharing it with two other guys at a baby shower. Must be classified as an ale. Ok I was wrong, its a saison. The name means "autumn".

75 cl bottle @ Kaisla. Bb Sept 2015. Hazy amber, thick white head.woody, earthy, toffee, herbal notes. Really nice. Flavor has toffee, wood, yeast, hops, candy sweetness, burnt toffee I think. Complex. Finish is sweet and long. Different but very tasty.

Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks to Bruce. Hazy amber beer, big fluffy cream coloured head. Light palate, airy and semi dry. Strange bitter caramel and burned toffee taste here. Touch of dried fruits. Dry finish. A bit odd not too bad.

Bottle thanks to Bruce. It pours lightly hazy amber with a small beige head. The nose is toast, sandalwood, caramel, varnish, leather, toffee and butterscotch. The taste is toffee, Werther’s Original, butterscotch, burnt aspect, honeycomb, spice, banana and bread with a very dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A bit too sweet really. So-so.
