Pours a deep amber, slightly cloudy, with an off-white head.
Malty, spicy aroma, caramel, yeasty phenols, cloves, earth, faint smoke, cinnamon, leather, apricot, faintly hoppy.
Dry, medium body and bitterness, creamy, CO2.
Spicy taste, lightly roasted malt, phenolic yeast notes, cloves, cinnamon, earth, caramel, toffee, orange peel, a light hoppy note.
Fairly complex and well balanced, a really nice and interesting beer. (2013-01-13)

Kopparfärgad öl med gulvitt skum. En trevlig doft med inslag av jäst och en pepprig kryddighet. Detta återkommer i smaken tillsammans med en lätt lakritssmak (bockhornsklövern?)

Gott och annorlunda. Smak av belgisk jäst, humle, karamell, örter, laktris, fruktmarmelad. En överraskande eftersmak som växer vidare i gommen. Lite pepprig och örtig beska.

Bottle, 75 cl. Clear orange amber with a small creamy white head. Fruity yeast notes, toffee and light caramel in the nose. Creamy texture. Taste is roasted, light sweet malty with hints of licorice and some interesting herbal notes. Quite bitter, peppery finish. Interesting take on the saison-style.

Brunorange vätska med viss jästfällning. Doft av belgisk jäst, röda vinbär, murriga kryddor. Tog fram en påse bockhornsklöver och jämförde dofterna, stämde precis. Smaken är murrig, jäst, kryddor, peppar, bockhornsklöver, blomvatten, ganska torr örtig beska. God och annorlunda kryddning som känns säsongsenlig men inte riktigt som jag vill att en saison skall smaka.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy reddish amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and yeasty. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 101112

Pours hazy dark copper with fluffy tanned head. Aroma of yeast, ripe apples and some undefined spice. Taste is very belgish, a bit spicy and it stays in your mouth for a while. I really like this one and it feels a bit unique!

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is light fruity, toasted malty and caramelish. Caramelish, toffee and liqourice. Toasted to light burned malt. Bitter, caramelish, toffee and malty lingering finish. Smooth and light bitter.

(Expensive) Bottle (75cl) from Systembolaget. Pours red amber into the glass with a fine layer of foam that never goes. It is a very beautiful beer thanks to its’ red (autumny) look. Aroma is a nice blend of malty sweetness and spices, it drives up the thirst. The taste is a slight let down from the build up, it starts mild and sweet from the caramalts, but then comes the spice and bitterness that washes away the sweets and leave you with a dry mouth. It’s like a teaser, the first impression is that this is a thirst quencher but then halfways through you frown and your toungue gets all dry. Too bad. With all the nice pre-conditions, this beer could have been a lot better.
