COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The end product is a hoppyaromatic all-malt brew where the special malt brings a remarkably pleasant malt character. It is fresh tasting and smooth as becomes a Dortmunder Export style beer.

This is a new favorit! I really like this one. Amber in color with a white head. Has a complex aroma and flavor from hops and burnt malt. A nice bitterness in the end.

(Draught) Clear golden color with a creamy, medium head. Quite sweet, grassy toffee aroma. Moderately sweet, toffee-malty flavor with quite conservative, but aromatic hopping. Smooth and oily, medium-bodied palate with well-balanced carbonation. An excellent lager with same characteristics as Renki from Kuninkaankartanon panimo.

Golden color with white head. The taste is light malty sweetness with a balanced bitterness. Has a rather sharp dry palate.

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2009 Bottled (BB 11/2004)
Dark honey color, small foamy white head, lace. Dry ashy hop aroma. Very good malty base with balanced hop character. Dry slightly bitter finish. This is very well-done lager and easy to drink brew. (4/3/8/4/13 3.2)
Re-rated bottle (BB 10/2009). Pale amber color, small white head. Sweet malty nose with hints of perfume and lemon. Light to medium body. Sweetish and buttery. More caramelly than hoppy. Some rye in the flavor. Thirst quencher. (6/3/7/3/12 3.1)

Bottle, from Systembolaget store in Malmø. Faintly hazy gold, thin white head and fine condition. Good grainy malt, floral honey and bohemian hop notes in the nose. Sweet grainy malt in the mouth with more honey notes and a peppery hop flavour coming through. Good hoppy aftertaste with a lingering grainy maltiness.

Pretty, deep golden color. Large head that diminishes somewhat. Clean, sweet, malt aroma. Sweet flavor balances with a nice hop bitterness. Well balanced, pleasing Lager. I could drink another one of these!! This comes my way from Per! Thanks for a great trade!

A big head, quickly shrinking. A good mature color. Rich malty flavor with a deep lingering aroma combined with a well balanced sweetness and an over all very pleasing, smooth attitude. A very marked, appealing palate. Refreshing. Restoring. One of the best lagers there is.
