Everything Nils Oscar touches - is turning to gold. A fairly standard lager style beer but made on the highest level.

Colour is golden with a nice head. Aroma is fruity and yeasty. The flavour is smoothe, slightly sweet, fruity and a great bitter finish, that reminds me of some of the better classic german pilsners. Great stuff.

Blond lager with no head. Spice and tobacco flavour. Slightly bitter finish. An interesting beer.

Pretty decent lager, nice hop character, but sometimes came across as a bit sticky or soggy or something.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nice golden colour and fine perlage, but poor head. Quite nice malt and hop aroma, enough strong. Pretty sweet and malty in the beginning, with a strong body texture, then more bitter. In the palate there is a nice aromatic note of hop, but some residual sweetness and a too high bitterness don’t convince me. As a bottled lager, it’s still a good product.

Nice malt-flavour, well-balanced bitternes. Another fine beer from Nils Oscar.

Well, I don’t know the dortmunder style, but Per suggests that it’s more of a Czech style pils and I agree. Big nice Saaz aroma, and a really nice mouthfeel. Similar in the slippery body to the Budvar, but less so, which I think is good. Nice and bitter. Betters the Dominion lager. Very very drinkable.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale yellow in colour with a rich head. Big, grassy saaz hop aroma. Softly malty, complex, and rather dry. The finish has a lingering bitterness.
IMO this is more of a czechish style pilsener than a Dortmunder, and a good one at that. A beer that can be consumed in quantity.
