330ml bottle at home. Pours golden yellow with a quickly vanishing head. Hay sweet aroma, some floral hops. Bready character comes through on the taste, and some bitterness. Not bad, but not great.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Nose is malt, light cereal, light biscuit, inoffensive. Taste is cereal, with light caramel and good butter, with a soft sweet finish. Mouthfeel is quite creamy for a lager, and lightly carbonate. A reasonable larger.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Appearance: golden edging on amber. Cloudy. Much carbonation, negligible white head. Smells lemony, grass, wine gums. Bitter sour initially, fading to a more agreeable sweet. Nice bitter hoppy kick in the aftertaste.

Bought from Tesco, Irvine, Scotland.
Have never saw this one before but I’m glad I took the chance. Having steered away from lager in recent times in favour of other types of beer I wasn’t too optimistic about it but I was wrong, Lightly coloured and subtle on the nose it’s all in the taste with this one. Not too gassy unlike some other lagers and with a slightly velvety mouthfeel , the biscuit and slightly floral/citrus taste combine to give a highly satisfying end product. God Lager translates as Good Lager and that’s a very apt name.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
[330ml bottle from Tescos, Reading] Deep gold with a negligible head and annoyingly prockly fizz. Some sweet caramel and butter with grassy hops. Not as bad as most lagers but still not for me.
