Turtles (368) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 20, 2015
330ml bottle from Systembolaget. Clear amber with a fluffy off-white head. Hoppy aroma, citrus, grapefruit, pineapple. Mild / Medium carbonated medium body, thick oily mouthfeel. The taste is fruity, pineapple, grapefruit, apricot and caramel, which also comes with the finish along with a mild bitterness. Nicely done!

God.

heavy (2270) - Split, CROATIA - MAR 25, 2015
Aug ’14. A 0.33 l bottle from some Systembolaget in or around Stockholm. It poured clear orange body with about medium sized head. Weak aroma, lemon (weird citra?) and herbal hops touched with something like peach or apricot jam. Lightly bitter flavor, but not of typical IPA, more herbal and spicy without usual citrus. Showed some caramel and plain sugary notes after a while. Medium bodied. Long persistent bitterness, although malt was evident in its long finish, too. Touch of metal. Seemed much lower in ABV. Not complex, but a quite pleasant beer, although expected much more.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Looks almost like a proper pils. The aroma is rather boring with some hints of resin and red fruit. The claimed simcoe, Amarillo and citra are nowhere to be found. Perhaps the bottle is old, there’s only three moths left to the best before data. Disappointingly low bitter finish.

Hopcone (12) - SWEDEN - JAN 1, 2015
Label says "lots of Amarillo and Citra hops" and dry hopping. The beer lacks of all traces from Amarillo and Citra hops and does not taste like dry hopped beers. A fake IPA and another disappoinment frpm Nils Oscar brewery.

Bottle, Ship in a Bottle, West Kirby. Dark golden pour with a small off white head. Nice fragrant hoppy beak. Grapefruit, peach and oak notes in the flavour. Plenty of bitterness delivered. Solid IPA. The only drawback was it made me think of my ex-boss who was Swedish so loses a point for that.
