I get some unpleasant vegetable action on the nose. How ever the taste is mostly Nelson Sauvin, lots of tropical fruits, i thinks this bottle is very new, but i think it’s still a decent beer.

26.08.2011. 0,33l Bottle. Systembolaget Charlottenberg. Golden colour with white head. There is so much hops in this beer that its not possible to taste either malt or slcohol. Very much dry bitterness with notes of pine and spruce resin. Bitter aftertaste. Allmost to much?

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear amber color, mediumsized head, not much lacing. Aroma of tropical fruits, gooseberries, and piney hops together with caramel/toffeish malt. Flavour is hoppy, yet balanced by the caramel malt notes with hints of pine/resin, tropical fruits and gooseberries. Medium to low carbonation. Medium bodied. A nice IPA!

big thanks to clyx for this 33cl bottle. best by 12/2011. pours a copper orange color with a dense soft off white head. smell is a balance of crisp bitter pine with a fair amount of sweet carmel grainy malt. taste is a very balanced malty carmel with piney resinous bitterness. touch of grain husk. mouthfeel is soft with a medium body and moderate creamy carbonation. overall i thoroughly enjoyed the balanced presented in this offering. It’s not screaming hops and is not overly malty, just enough hops and just enough malt.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Full pint, from tap @Bishops Arms, København. Shady, deep gold to pale amber colored body. A finger of blond foamy head. Caramel malts and bold fruity, piney and resinous hops in the nose. Taste is definitely hop driven. Distinctly bitter. Peacy and lemon fruity hops for flavoring, also some resiny and spicy hop oils. A solid caramelly malt base underneath. Medium full. Oily in the mouth. Lasting bitterness in the aftertaste. A rock solid IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Clear golden amber, looks really good! Small, off-white, head. Bready, malty base, with some citrus, caramel and floral notes layered on top. Medium high carbonation with a smooth mouth-feel. Light-to-medium body. Fairly bitter with an immediate bite. Rather dry and not very sweet. I had this from draught, at "Post Museet" in Stockholm a bit back, on recommendation. I liked it then, but damn if don’t like it even more now. A very good, very hoppy and bitter, semy-american IPA. Nice!
