Aug 31, 2007 bottle. the beer pours a pitch black color with a large head. nice roasty coffee aroma. very soft texture. taste is smooth creamy coffee.

Aug 28, 2007 Bottle. Low but lasting light brown head. Pitch black body. Could see aboslutely no light through the beer. Mild coffee aroma and not much else. Guess it was served too cold. Mild smooth and well rounded coffee flavor with a touch of liquorice. Low carbonation. Long coffee aftertaste.

Aug 24, 2007 Pitch black with brown head. Aroma is wauw... Hops roast coffee & chocolate malts. Filling & smooth - far from thick body though. Bitter roasted flavor. Good lacings. Not very complex, rather simple but very nice indeed!

Aug 17, 2007 Bottle at GBBF 2007. Black, lasting tan head. Well it’s an impy sout. Powdery intense roasted malt aroma. Powdery/grainy and juicy. Good impy stout. Little thin, but decent finish. Lovely aroma, just a little over carbonated.

Aug 14, 2007 Bottle, GBBF 2007. Black, thin creamy tan head. Nose is malty, christmas cake and brandy tones. Fresh ground coffee. Mouth is fantastic roasted malt, chocolate, milk chocolate. Finishes dark chocolate, dry bitterness. Brilliant.
