Flavour is vaguely chocolate and strongly roasted malt. Clear coffee note lendin quite some of its bitterness to the beers nice hoppy bitterness. Malty and coffee finish. Nice stout. thewolf (5635), Kolding, Denmark Aug 3, 2007 Bottle 7.0%, from Kvickly Svendborg. Pour is not as black as expected, more a dark redish brown. Small fizzy head that quickly disappears. Aroma is quite roasted, but seems mild. A quite high carbonation, making the beer lively in my mouth. Flavour is roasted, chocolaty, and surprisningly mild for such a highly rated impy. But the aftertaste is stunning, incredibly long - hops, chocolate and roasted malts combine nicely. Mild and good - but not really an impy... EHSRanders (1121), Randers C, Denmark Aug 3, 2007 Bottle.
