Delicious strong aroma of black chocolat, some coffee and roasted malt, some hop and laurel. Creamy body. Bit alcoholic taste (7% version?), chocolat, roasted malt, quite sweet. MPA (482), Nørrebro(formerly Aalborg), Denmark May 26, 2007 Black with a brown head. Aroma of chocolate, licorice and hops. Flavour is sweet with chocolate, licorice, butterscotch and a nice bitterness. Thick palate. I like the fact, that this beer is not as strong as other impy’s, but it’s still packed with flavour and is an utter enjoyment to drink. bgburdman9 (822), Columbus, Ohio, USA May 20, 2007 Pours almost black with not much of a head at all. Aroma of roastiness and chocolatey, flavor was chocolate and actually had a little sourness to it. Not bad at all but a little weak for an imp stout.
