| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 25, 2006 33cl bottle, best by May 2013 (maybe I jumped the gun on this - lol). Obtained in trade with my Secret Santa sunevdj - THANKS SUNE! Dark ruby with a thick, creamy, tan head. Roasted malt and coffee, a bit burnt, with a touch of smoke. Medium sweet flavor, coffee, chocolate. Nice bitter finish - burnt coffee, roasty malt, a distinct smokiness. Body is on the thin side, but does not detract - actually, I think it adds to the drinkablity. Well done! fonefan (11047), VestJylland, Denmark

Aroma of coffee, burned coffee beans and malt. Flavor is the same, coffee, dark chocolate. Medium finish. DanielBrown (1919), Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, England
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 9, 2006 Bottle from Plan B, Copenhagen. Dark and rich foir sure, but a little too sweet for me (for an Impy that is). Not the grainy, hardcore hoppy blackness that I hoped for. Still nice, but not the ultimate.
