Bottel.50cl. After a long day with idiot´s and ass-holes this beer is a Heavenly beer, it saved my day. Need i say more.

<b>3/18/2008</b>: Nils Oscar Imperial Stout pours a clear, ruby/chocolate brown color with a thin, bubbly head. The aroma of coffee and chocolate is good, but not overly rich or deep. Black coffee, milk chocolate (lactose-like), and artificial sweetness are present in the flavor. There fruity notes in the middle and it finishes sweet and roasty with hints of char. No alcohol can be tasted. This beer is medium-bodied but seems really thin. It definitely needs some more heft to the body to match all of the dark, roasty flavors of the style!

Bottle purchased in Atlanta. Poured black with a short lasting, light brown head. Aroma of slightly sweet chocolate, roasted malt, and caramel/nuts. Flavor was heavy on the roasted malt, with a solid hoppy finish. A light dusting of chocolate. Only a hint of sweetness. Low carbonation and a thinnish mouthfeel. About average for the style for me.

A delicious foreign stout. Aroma was delicious. Dark chocolate, roasted malt and coffee. Not incredibly strong, but very nice. Pour was an almost black with no head or bubbles. Taste was nicely carbonated for a stout and not too thick. Strong roasted malt bitterness in the front and the aftertaste is dominated by coffee with some chocolate on the back of the tongue. Easy drinking stout.

Bottle. Rich dark chocolate, well roasted malts, toasted tobacco leaf, wet leather, espresso on the nose. The malt component is quite nice: roasted, but not so charred as to take on an astringent and bitter quality. Pours nearly opaque brown with a decent lived khaki head leaving excellent sticky lacing. Less flavor on the tongue than I had hoped based on the nose. Toasted vanilla bea, spent coffee grounds, bitter chocolate. Decent, but nothing too spectacular. Medium, leaning toward full bodied. A good, but not overly, amount of carbonation for the style. Finishes with a mellow roasted malt quality.

bottle....appearance: semi thin dark brown cola pour with a thin light tan head....aroma: dark fruits, burnt roasted malt, bittersweet chocolate, and some coffee rinds....taste: bitter cofee, lots of roasted malt that leaves a bitter finish in the end. mouthfeel was way too thin being an imperial stout.....was expecting a little more from this one.

Bottle: Courtesy of renhed. Dark brown in color with no head. Chocolate and roasted malts in the nose with some dark fruit notes as well. Medium bodied, mildly dry and full of malty goodness. Dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and plums are all melded well together and compliment each other nicely.

50 cl bottle, 7 % ABV. Dark brown color. Brown, disappering head. Roasted malt. Nice, average stout.
