COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks Ariel. Clear light amber with a minimal white head. Citrus and some malt aroma, malty, grainy taste. Soft carbonation, citric finish, light body. Good.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks Ariel. Clear deep golden. Hoppy aroma with some flowers, a bit of citrus, malty notes and a hint of cardboard. Flavor starts with light malty sweetness and continues hoppy with a moderately bitter finish. Decent.

This is marked as Nils Oscar IPA, but I’m sure this is the the beer I have, not the hopyard. Has the overall character of an American pale, decent citrus hops but also some malt in evidence. Flavor is equal measures bitter and sweet. Orange color with small suspension. Pretty easy drinking.

33 cl bottle from gnoff. Pours a rich golden orange with small off white head turning to lace rather quickly. Floral nose with some grapefruit and apricot. Tart grapefruit flavor continues into the taste - crisp orange blossom hop with just enough malt backbone. Full mouthfeel and some lingering bitterness. Lovely for the style.

Amber orange colour, with small off white head, that quickly dissapear and turn into lacing. It has aroma of roasted malt, caramel, some herbs and some tropical fruits. It smells different, if I compare it to the other IPA beers, but that’s not the case with taste. The typical IPA bitterness comes out immediately and it stays in mouth as a aftertaste, too.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours clear amber with a big reamy white head. Aroma of caramel malts and moderate fruity hops. Taste is moderate bitter hops, crisp and fresh, piney hops, good balanced malty body. Lingering dry herbal and peppery aftertaste, including peppermint, quite good.

Bottle from systembolaget Årjeng, Sweden. Clear amber colour with a small white head. Hoppy nose with some caramel. Very hoppy flavour but not as much grape as expected, solid caramel background.

Aroma is not very much at all; all I can get is some light perfume and acetone. Taste however brings a lot of hops of dry brittish character, I’d expect EKG and fuggles but what do I know, it was good anyhow.
