Not so much hop aroma for a modern India Pale Ale. Limited head. Low alcoholic level for an IPA (5.3%). Good taste. Long bitter finish.

Beautiful sparkly amber, with off-white head. A shy nose with some malt, more hops. Slightly sweet, and nicely bitter taste.

In the glass this one looks exactly like the Hennessy cognac my wife is drinking right now, i.e. crystal clear and medium amber. Ok, there is a rather creamy, egg-white head that sticks to the glass as well, that isn’t very cognac-like. The aroma is moderate and very malty for an IPA, I get lots of sweet caramel and pale malts. The fruity stuff in the back is mainly generic dark fruits. The same goes for the rather strong flavour, with some additional grapefruit. The taste is moderate to light sweet and the long finish is moderate to light bitter. Mid-bodied, smooth texture, rather soft carbonation and it dries up somewhat in the finish. A nice bitter, an amazingly boring IPA.

Clear orange beer with creamy off-white head leaving lacing. Aroma and flavor are malty sweet with dry hay and crisp citrus. Medium full and soft palate with stinging bitterness. Finishes with a heavy dry bitterness lingering for quite long. Also some vegetably aftertaste. A pretty dry IPA with decent bitterness but could be more tasty and aromatic.

Flaska från systemet. En djup fin kopparfärg. Doftar mineralvatten. Bra beska och mycket len. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from rlgk, thanks Ronny! Clear golden-amber color, with a decent white head. Wheat, straw, grassy hops and musty malts. Taste is defined by sweet malts, with slick yeast, pinched by citrus hoppy notes, resulting in a short bitterness, coated up by a bready malt aftertaste. Dry, smooth mouthfeel, in which hops go well along with toffeish malts, without letting the bitterness getting out of hand. Carbonation is lively, adds copper metallic hints to the refreshing aftertaste.

Keg at the Rover, Goteborg, 23/03/14. Clear golden amber with a moderate off white swirl and edgeing. Nose is toasted malt, caramel, light citrus, pretty thin aroma. Taste comprises caramel malt, light hops, faint citrics, biscuit, grassy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Caramac forward IPA - pretty mediocre stuff ... yawn.
