Not so much hop aroma for a modern India Pale Ale. Limited head. Low alcoholic level for an IPA (5.3%). Good taste. Long bitter finish.

Copper body with small white head. Scent is quite mild. A little tones of bread and grass. No distinctive taste of hops but the bitterness is there.

Gylden, medium skum. Aroma av sitrus og malt. Godt med bitterhet i smaken, samt noe sitron, grapefrukt og malt. Tynn/medium konsistens. Søtlig så bitter.

8/9/2010. From bottle. Light amber color. Caramel, citrus and hop aromas. Not overly hoppy, but with a good balance of caramel and fruit.

Drank as a draught. A simple ipa. The taste is bitter in a rough way and would be better if there would be some sweetness.

Beautiful sparkly amber, with off-white head. A shy nose with some malt, more hops. Slightly sweet, and nicely bitter taste.

In the glass this one looks exactly like the Hennessy cognac my wife is drinking right now, i.e. crystal clear and medium amber. Ok, there is a rather creamy, egg-white head that sticks to the glass as well, that isn’t very cognac-like. The aroma is moderate and very malty for an IPA, I get lots of sweet caramel and pale malts. The fruity stuff in the back is mainly generic dark fruits. The same goes for the rather strong flavour, with some additional grapefruit. The taste is moderate to light sweet and the long finish is moderate to light bitter. Mid-bodied, smooth texture, rather soft carbonation and it dries up somewhat in the finish. A nice bitter, an amazingly boring IPA.

Bottle, gift from Erik. Thanks! Clear amber with a off white head. Pilsner malt/cereal, some citrus hops in aroma. Taste has caramel malt, piney and citrus (grapefruit/tangerine) hops. Medium body, soft carbonation, crisp. Bitter dry after taste.
