Nils Oscar Kalasöl Oktober

This beer was only brewed once as far as I know, and was a maltier version of Nils Oscar Kalasöl. Kalasöl itself is a wacked, more hoppy variation of octoberfest, so this was really, really hoppy but had a more filling mouthfeel, and was IMO better than the ordinary version.

A good märzen, a bit sweet for me but really hoppy.

This is so dry and hoppy it could come from Seattle. Despite its initial burst of caramelly maltiness, the earthy hops get down to business shortly thereafter and never let go until well after you’ve put down the glass.
