JPDIPSO (4180), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA May 10, 2008 Bright copper color with a moderate fluffy beige head. Earthy caramel and lightly toasted malt aromas. HInts of floral/herbal hops. Crisp and clean form the start. With Light caramel, light herbal hops and a hint light fruit. Fell is just right for style with light and not quite zippy lift. A dry lightly nutty finish and linger.
Skyview (2641), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jul 6, 2008 From a 500ml bottle shared by badgerben, pours a reddish copper amber brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a fine film. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, light dark fruits, a touch of flowery hops and roasted nuts. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of sweet caramel and multi-grain malt, a touch of toffee and flowery hops. Finish has a nice sweet malty aftertaste that even brings for some herbal spice added. badgerben (2990), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Jul 5, 2008 Copper color with a thin head. Strong Munich malt aroma, bread and grain. Grainy flavor. Lots of fresh grain, like gnawing on a barley field in September. No hop flavor at all. Not stunning, but very solid and great for the style.
