50 cL bottle. Pours deep amber with an orange glare, slowly collapsing orange to tan head. Mild spiced, roasted malt and caramel aroma. Flavour is light fruity with a mild liqourice note and slowly building bitterness. Very minor smoke note it seems. Solid bitterness into the finish, mixed with notes of caramel and light roasted notes.

Apr 13, 2008 Bottled. Clear golden brown in color. *Minor head. The aroma is malty and The flavour has a malty and somewhat bitter aftertaste. Very pleasant.

Feb 20, 2008 2007 bottle. Malty. Much like NOs barley wine. Not sweet enough, not bitter enough. Some nice toffee in there, though.

Feb 18, 2008 Bottle from fonefan on 11/14/07. Pours with little head. Brown color. Harsh bitter burnt taste. Dry, harsh, acidic. Some malty undertones. Not very good IMHO.
