Bottle, march 2nd 2013. Clear amber body, vanishing beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, grainy, lightly spiced with herbs and orange peels. Taste is mostly caramel and herbs, red fruits hiding in the background. Good mouthfeel, thick body, low bitterness. Finish is toffee and orange. A step up from most other vienna "juleøl" style beers.

5.2% deep amber with a thin head, malty aroma, slight caramel malt taste, not bad.

330ml bottle. Deep ruby red colour with an off-white head that dissipates quickly. Not sure about the aroma - some malt but also an odd egginess. Tastes much better. A little toast, malt and a late developing but robust bitterness. Pretty well balanced and quite enjoyable.

UPDATED: MAR 23, 2013 330ml Bottle, 49p from B&M Bargains. Poured into a rounded lager glass. Rich brown clear body, with a beige head that fades to a skim.Salt toffee and date aroma.Toffee prunes and date flavours. Full bodied and fruity, slick mouthfeel, bitter finish.Nice Beer, and a bargain at this price. 23/03/2013: I have had the opportunity to sample a few more bottles, and this is best served chilled. It reminds me of Brewdog Punk IPA, but with some toffee in the flavour. I have grown to love it, an have raised the taste mark and the overall enjoyment mark to reflect this.Still 49p at B&M. Less than £1 for more than a pint.

Bartendern bjöd mig på denna då han tyckte det var roligt att jag ville ha en julöl i Mars.

330ml bottle, 2012 edition. Amber body, with a beige head. Malty flavor with cispbread, butterscotch, orange peel and honey. Short ending with a hint of bitterness. Light body and carbonation. A good x-mas beer, but a bit too thin.

Bottle traded with Cunningham. The bready and nutty malty base has citrusy and grassy-earthy hop notes shimmering through. I like it how they managed to underline the hop-blend in this one. Medium body, velvety carbo and a medium bitterness. Dry, nutty and tea-like finish. A lovely vienna!
