The color is beautiful like dark amber and the head is nice. The aroma is malty with notes of flowers. The flavour has notes of malt, flowers, a bit of fruit, caramel and a nice bitterness. The body is nice and full, and it’s a very refreshing beer, ideal for an Easter lunch. 1989

rlgk (9492) - Göteborg/Jönköping, SWEDEN - APR 8, 2004
UPDATED: APR 15, 2004 Shiny amber/orange with a nice almost yellow head. Aroma is from vanilla and toffee, but also with some hops. Falovr is hoppy, a little spicy, and the hops get even clearer in the finish.

JorisPPattyn (7717) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - SEP 12, 2006
Bright orange-amber; with a disappearing brownish head. Dry, but discreet hops, a bit of turmeric. Sweet, alcoholic taste, but at the same time dry and spicey - though flavourwise not necessarily turmeric any longer. Medium bodied, lightened somehow by the alcohol. Good beer, presenting itself stronger than it is, just not really distinctive as some of this brewery’s products are. Still.

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 5/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 5/5   OVERALL 15/20
Rastacouere (6107) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 1, 2007
Clear light copper lager that wears a large, lasting, delicately laced off-white head. beautiful. Distinct nutty maltiness is also toasty, rather dry and gently fruity (think figs, orange tea, raisins). Some sugary hints manage to peak through in a subtle manner, some kind of burnt caramel perhaps, but the toastiness keeps the lead. Firmly grainy, yet it develops a growing, more than fair powdery bitterness, quite leafy, grainy while the crisp palate feels medium bodied and excellently carbonated. A remarkable lager, very firm and pleasant texture.
